I found the whole thing to look half assed. :keke:
I don't see how you couldn't fill half of her eye with black, instead you filled it with actual eye.
I had no idea how long you have traced for, and I frankly don't care. Just take my harsh critics and treat them however you want.
Look up some tutorials or something. But all I'm talking about is tinkering with the "Minimum diameter" slider inside "Shape Dynamics". I usually have it around 15-25%.
But if you're going to vector, which you rather should, you just trace the shape of the lines.
The edge of her eye only being a brush stroke, and not an actually filled in area, was actually a mistake that I somehow didn't notice. Again, I know there is a horrible lack of detail in the eye due to me missing things and me still being new to this.
Your critics make their points for someone that knows what they're doing. You don't tell a 3 year old on a bicycle without training wheels to do a few tricks when he's just learning how to balance and ride. I understand criticism is necessary, but actually pay attention to what you criticize when you're talking to someone that has a very little knowledge of what he's doing. Telling them "open the brush strokes settings and play with shit" doesn't really explain shit to someone who doesn't know what they're doing. If you're going to criticize, at least explain clearly how it could have been done better.
I know actually tracing the black lines as well would increase the quality of the tracings. Most tutorials I find are all about tracing picture of real things. Keep in mind they don't have a solid black border of equal width all the way around the image, something which, as far as I know, is a pain in the ass to do since you move the points around manually. If there is an easier way, I don't know it.
Finding a decent tutorial of tracing a drawn (or whatever you would like to determine a scene from an anime) picture is almost impossible, as all of those are half assed and offer no decent tips to someone just starting. Most tutorials start expecting you to have more than basic knowledge of what you're doing. As I've said before, I'm still at basic.
Here's another picture I did yesterday. I actually changed brush size for shadings and color changes that didn't have a border on them. However the general lines still have their rounded edges, since I prefer using the brush tool as it has a constant width through out the entire line. If I tried to do it manually, I would never get shit done because no matter what I would feel like some parts are uneven. While the ends of lines would look nicer, I would hate it due to a line constantly changing thickness.

Also even with this image, the small black half-circle in the center of the eye, I didn't notice it was missing until I was about to upload it. I fixed it just now, but it's not like it was hard to do. Sometimes I just miss shit.
Also I do agree the the rounded edges look ugly, but again, I don't know a way to do it without it looking like shit.

Too late to get gold because of time elapsed, errors, negativity, might redeem if not use special tools, (using only things in photoshop that ms paint only has, so no clone tools or likes) true artist use basic tools, also it's 9 not 8

True artists use all the tools they can get a hold of to make the best results the simplest way possible. This is why you can find works that have been made in 4-10 different mediums, to use the best and most efficient tools for specific jobs. Go watch some Bob Ross.

Just ask me how to do it and I'll tell you or find a tutorial about it for you, it's that easy.
Vectoring is a pain in the ass to do. Quality usually comes from effort, not from being lazy.
That I can understand. But I've throughout my life only used tutorials about 6-7 times. I like to learn as much as possible by myself. I was a bit lucky with starting to use Photoshop though. I got ahold of it because I was going to do Gmod comics, and I got Gog! to help me over Steam with the basic of the basic Photoshop tools and knowing how the interface for CS2 worked. Before that I used Jasc Paint Shop Pro.
Much better, as for the end of the lines, there are three ways to do it. Make everything gradually change size using Shape dynamics. Make two different layers for each line, one without Shape Dynamics, one with. Then just erase everything but the tips of the line on the Shape Dynamics layer. And vica versa for the one without. Or manually remove parts of the tips by erasing it with a brush or making a selection with the pen tool.

Sorry but artists aren't mind readers. Nor is cooks.
I expect the request to be as detailed as possible from the start for me to satisfy the customers need, not to be yelled at for not doing something he/she didn't tell me to do. As a producer producing something for others I want to make it what the customer wants, and I already know that a customer can get pretty pissed if I do something he/she didn't request, this I know from experience, thus I avoid doing it and rather suggest it whilst showing the current product to the customer. If the customer kindly tells me to do something different, I'll do it, which I have done for you so far, nevermind my rude language, that's just you acting like a retarded and flipping out from nothing, thus you get the same behaviour backfired at you. Yes, I am that unprofessional, after all I am an artist, a human being, not a mass producer that tries to satisfy everyone, only those that likes what I do, through doing what I like.
He doesn't use photoshop, but he uses as many different and varied tools he can get his hands on to make different strokes and effects on his canvas. This is no different from using different tools and brushes in photoshop to get the desired effect. Photoshop does nothing you couldn't do in real life. It only does it easier for the most. And every artist knows that MS paint sucks in the end. Not to say it isn't a tool that can achieve wonderful and amazing products and art pieces, but it is still a bad program, but good for restricting yourself.

Haven't used it myself, but I see Codesta uses it for his works.

No. We don't even have SPAM in Norway. We've only heard of it from Monty Python sketches, and that's it. And all I could think about spam being then was email spam, which made no sense to me.
You're still a bad challenger.
Photoshop automated my ass. The clone tool works the same way as copying an image many times, clipping or ripping apart the piece you want, place it ontop of the original image and start rubbing away the edges to make it a smooth transistion if you want. It's faster and easier, but it's not something that doesn't requier manual effort.
Real artists have nothing to do with tools. Real artists have to do with product. Or rather, effort. Mona Lisa is just as much art as drawing a stickman. However most people prefer the Mona Lisa over the stickman as it has more work put into it and it looks better for most people.
I don't want your fucking medals.
