Those are both valid points but always complaining about how big images are is just as annoying when you have like 5 people going "OMG USE THUMB TAGS U N00B!1" AND "OMG WHY SUCH A BIG PIC D00D!?".

That's not why I complain about picture sizes. It's as our dear box said, when people quote them and they re-appear it's fucking annoying. I've seen the picture already and it takes up unnecessary space and only provides great annoyance.
I mean, fuck me, you complained about the OP ALL THE FUCKING GODDAMN TIME. It is basically the same problem, having to load the pictures over and over again until the page is over, and having to scroll past them.

Because it is annoying so we want people to make it a common thing to use [img_thumb] tags. Just do that and there will be no complaints. Again, it has nothing to do with screen resolution.

Nah, just kidding. But you have to scroll past them as I said. And I often end up closing my browser all the time sometimes for no reason, other times becuase I feel done browsing then I want to browse again 3 minutes afterwards, or I end up remembering something or come up with something that needs googling and I end up browsing Facepunch again.
