I swear, most people I meet on Steam are either:
-Horribly racist

Just recently I joined a call with some "online" friends who I'd recently met to play a particular game with. The topic of smoking/vaping came up and someone's response to the hazards of smoking was "the government sprays chemtrails so we're effectively breathing that all the time, so what's the point in worrying about smoking?". I burst out laughing, expecting everyone else to laugh along. No one did, and that's when I discovered they all believed the same. It's funny how these groups of people just exist in their own little bubbles.
Another time I met someone who desperately tried to convince me 9/11 was a hoax and that flouride was in the water to make us dumb. Again, he had 2-3 friends who he brought in to back him up. Madness
