Because you can't get much out of it, in these other sports.
You punch someone in Hockey, you get a 5 minute timeout, you punch somebody in Soccer you can get suspended for multiple games.
You could be playing shorthanded for the whole 90 minute game, because somebody pulled your shirt twice.
