Look at the east border of New York. It should be bordered completely by other US states - from south to north, Connecticut, Massachusetts, and Vermont. Vermont is in the right place but Connecticut, Massachusetts, Rhode Island, New Hampshire and Maine are moved northeast so that Massachusetts borders Vermont to the west, not the north.
