The movie was made before the original Clannad series and only follows the VN loosely.

There was one article I found and it had contradictory numbers with a ratio of 10^10 in one sentence. :v:
The correct ratio is a [URL="http://www.wolframalpha.com/input/?i=((sun+radius)%2F(earth+radius))^2"]bit less than 12000[/URL], but it's possible to get to 13000 by rounding the constants to a single significant digit and then rounding the ratio to the nearest 5 before squaring.
