Is another supposed to remind me of final destination
alright, i know that it's not one of facepunch's favourite choice, probably it's the worst after Naruto, but is anyone recently following One Piece? i stop reading it after [sp]Ace's death[/sp] and i'd like to know if it's like worthy restart it.
There's not much that has changed very significantly, I think. There's a [sp]time skip[/sp] and they [sp]crossed the Red Line[/sp], so there's slightly more weirdness. Edit: I mean that positively though, I enjoy reading it a lot more than Naruto. [sp]I also still read Bleach but it's now incredibly crappy because of ridiculous power creep and plot inconsistencies.[/sp]
Is another supposed to remind me of final destination
even final destination is better than another tho
even final destination is better than another tho
I hated final destination so I can't argue that
nami has bigger tits now
how about robin?
Wow. Well i hope you come tomorrow. Here is a little bit of what you missed: [img_thumb]http://horobox.co.uk/u/creec_1361163742.jpg[/img_thumb] And heres me and joppu: [img_thumb]http://horobox.co.uk/u/creec_1361131821.jpg[/img_thumb] His lesson was boss. 5/5.
Look everyone, I'm famous :v:
because my parents for some reason think it's far superior and won't buy me a windows laptop.
MacBooks tend to be superior to your average laptop.
Is there a MAC equivalent of MPCHC + MadVR + LAV filters etc etc? Or should I just make a second partition on the drive for windows?
MplayerX is currently the best choice, pretty much equivalent to Media Player Classic.
how about robin?
Same, with more cleavage.
Same, with more cleavage.
well, those are two good reasons for me. Four, to be honest, along with Nami's ones.
MacBooks tend to be superior to your average laptop.
Because the average laptop costs 50% less. You can get better specs than the MacBook pro for hundreds of dollars less if you pass on the retina display (which, I think, is not worth the price tag, but I haven't actually seen one running on full resolution).
Snip, late.
That was posted already, I'm sure of it.
The fishman island arc is awful the arcs after that however are good
I stopped about there. Despite being held in low regard, is it worth watching onwards?
I stopped about there. Despite being held in low regard, is it worth watching onwards?
The manga is a million times better just read it, the anime is getting better too though
I stopped about there. As far as manga goes, One Piece is generally regarded as alright, and you might not get chewed out for reading Naruto.

I liked one piece initially, but eventually it started to feel like each arc was more and more drawn out, I just wanted it to end so they could go do something else. I think I got to the skypia (spelling?) Arc before I finally had enough. I have a problem where I am unable to skip filler, if it has enough that its a problem, Ill just give up on it. Hell, rurouni kenshin, minus the filler, would probably be one of my all time favorites, but because of all the filler episodes and filler arcs, its condemned to the middle of the pack.
So, I just finished reading the School Days VN, and have watched the anime, and I have one thing to say if you're interested but haven't tried it yet. Certainly watch it, the drama and emotion of the love story is told beautifully, especially through the latter episodes, and of course, like any good romance anime, it ends with the lovers sailing off in a Nice Boat. Also started watching Nichijou, and all I have to say is if you're into grim, dark, dreary, and emotionally charged settings, then this show is for you, easy 10/10. [sp]Ohmygod why did I ever watch school days[/sp] [sp]Nichijou is actually pretty hilarious though[/sp]
is it really that bad if you just skip the filler?
one piece, as it went farther on, started to have at least 33% of the episode devoted to recap. Then you add intro/outro/commercial break animations, you've got a very tiny amount of actually new footage each episode. i dropped it at episode 525 i think (although i only watched ~350 episodes worth of content), which is right in the beginning of the fishman island arc? I really enjoyed it (although the manga is probably better), but I just didn't like the show after the timeskip. What volume/chapter is the fishman arc in the manga? i didn't mind watching naruto all the way up till like ep 200 or so of shippuden, although i skipped most of the filler if it was obvious filler. After that point the good/shit ratio tipped in favor of shit, to the point where even I couldn't continue watching it. And unless i'm remembering the older episodes wrong, the current episodes have far worse animation quality; it's like they don't even care any more. I currently have it on hold at episode 288, but i doubt i'll finish the series unless they wrap it up with a finale soon. i rated the first "season" 5/10, and shippuden 4/10. i watched all of bleach and it got increasingly bad towards the end. i liked some parts, but it was a solid 3/10. but i have a very high tolerance for fantasy shounenshit, so unless i know someone is the same way i wouldn't recommend any of them to anybody.
Joke. | | | v your head.
saying something is the opposite of what it is is now a joke? ok then.
Needs sarcasm tags
Needs sarcasm tags
But that ruins the joke.
Joke. | | | v your head.
wow dood deep joke man
wow dood deep joke man
You want a deep joke? I am here today to write about the visual novel "Monmusu Quest". This VN, nay, it is a work of art even, has wrought the iron ore that previously was my life into something, new, gleaming, and strong. My mind, a previously flabby shell of noodles has been rearranged by the brilliant writing and storyline, which in my most humble opinion, truly surpasses Tolkien himself. Continuing with this theme of the senses, I would like to point out that prior to my 26 hour play session with this extravagant masterpiece, I was unable to see certain shades of purple, brown, and white, but following the session, I was able to see all of those and more! After spending so long with the beautifully illustrated and voiced Alipheese Fateburn XVI I knew that her and I were meant to be. Truly, my mind simply cannot accept any human girl as attractive, this revelation has completely changed my life. However, one cannot go in so deep, without sounding shallow, the metaphysics of the universe contained within our world never ceased to amaze me, my mind full of colours, my ears full of music, and my heart, full of love. [sp]I am prepared for dumbs, but this was fun to write, I can't do anymore[/sp]
Don't believe his lies, he's never played Monster Girl Quest.
No, I played part 1. It has a surprising level of depth and I intend on playing the rest. I was just, you know, kidding.
