I really need someone here to watch Kino's Journey because it's so good ajalsjsadkjd or we can complain about how Higurashi went from an amazingly written horror thriller to fanservice
There is no one left to watch it and we've already talked about Higurashi's fanservice shitfuck route several times. No choice.
Oh, forgot to say, I watched the Magic Tree House movie. It is faithful to the book, it takes place in America, same as the books(it was strange as hell seeing an anime where cars and signs and people are actually, you know, AMERICAN), everyone is named correctly, too(Jack and Annie remain Jack and Annie). It seemed to cover the first 4 books or so, I haven't read the series since grade school, so I forget. But yep, faithful to what I remember of the book series, gets sorta dark during [sp]the Pompeii section of the movie, where Jack is traumatized by the events that took place there, and their escape from the Volcano[/sp]. Also, during the [sp]pirate section, the Pirate Captain slaps the shit out of Annie with his hand once, with his pistol another time, and shoots her with it. I don't really recall that much violence on poor Annie[/sp]. Jack towards the end seemed like [sp]a real asshole. To the point where a girl crushing on him and his own sister call him out for being a stupid bitch.[/sp] Overall, a good children's feel-good movie, show it to your siblings who are young and into the books, or watch it yourselves for a bit of nostalgia.
Who am I suppose to root for in Psycho-Pass? This anime knows how to get me excited.
I really need someone here to watch Kino's Journey because it's so good ajalsjsadkjd or we can complain about how Higurashi went from an amazingly written horror thriller to fanservice your choice
Speaking of higurashi, anyone want to tl;dr the whole story? I don't feel like rewatching it again, but all I remember is [sp]Bitches go crazy, at the end of s1 rena was holding the school hostage or something, and at the end of s2 there were gun fights.[/sp]
Man, latest R;N got me pretty confused. This really has multiple ways it can go. [sp]The excecutive doesn't seem to be the actual bad-guy anymore, and there's obviously some shit between him and Misa (I mean, he tried to shoot her after all).[/sp]
I assume it's because [sp]the kimijima reports leaked[/sp], and [sp]misa was desperately pleading kai to keep them a secret[/sp], and based on some of the earlier episodes [sp]the executive guy already believed misa had connections to kimijima, as he questioned her about it[/sp], therefore [sp]his plan is ruined and thinks it's misa's fault or something along those lines[/sp].

Just finished the second season of Kaiji, I don't think I would ever say watching someone play pachinko could be that tense and entertaining. Kaiji is amazing.
just watched the latest robotics;notes That ending
Just finished the second season of Kaiji, I don't think I would ever say watching someone play pachinko could be that tense and entertaining. Kaiji is amazing.
Let's be honest here. Kaiji is probably the ONLY series where Pachinko will be that intense.
The Kaiji story arc after everyone [sp]gets out of the mines[/sp] in the manga is pretty boring though. [sp]Kaiji goes back to being a useless piece of shit, and gets involved in Mahjong gambling. The match itself is fairly dull.[/sp] But I didn't read anything past that, so I don't know if it gets better.
The Fate/Stay Night anime wasn't all that bad, I fucking understand the hate for Tsukihime's trainwreck of an anime but I'll never get why people hate the far better F/SN one on the same level. They aren't even comparable, Fate was a decent adaption while Tsukihime was a disaster so bad I went and played the VN right after and 100%'d it out of spite.
Fate anime wasn't tsukihime anime, but dem cgi dragons
Fate/Stay Night's anime adaption while better then the Tsukihime one(that we don't talk about) is still far weaker then the Visual Novel it was based off, not to say it's bad or anything which it isn't; but it really fucks up a few times.
actually i think it is plain bad, the character designs looked off, the action scenes were boring, the story was a trainwreck of the routes and it was simply not fun to watch [editline]24th February 2013[/editline]
Fate anime wasn't tsukihime anime, but dem cgi dragons
hey man haven't you been feeling animes lately?
hey man haven't you been feeling animes lately?
i picked up league of legends and my life hasn't been the same since then, in a not-good way what did i miss [editline]24th February 2013[/editline] i've been watching the animes tho, yes
i picked up league of legends and my life hasn't been the same since then, in a not-good way what did i miss [editline]24th February 2013[/editline] i've been watching the animes tho, yes
You didn't miss much tbqh
i picked up league of legends and my life hasn't been the same since then, in a not-good way
Filthy casual.
Is the persona anime any good? Friend of mine really likes the games, but I've never played them. Worth watching?
Filthy casual.
u wot m8 [editline]24th February 2013[/editline]
Is the persona anime any good? Friend of mine really likes the games, but I've never played them. Worth watching?
it was okay by itself but I didn't really play the games so I dunno how it'd feel if I had played the source content
u wot m8
Real men play Dota 2.
i tried dota 2 but i got stunned and died like twice at 5 mins, broken gaem
Real men play Dota 2.
Real men like both and don't argue over which is better like a bunch of 10 year olds
Real men like both and don't argue over which is better like a bunch of 10 year olds
I was joking.
Is the persona anime any good? Friend of mine really likes the games, but I've never played them. Worth watching?
While it's a pretty faithful and decent adaption, the game far outshines the anime. If you think you'd ever be interested in playing the game, I'd avoid the watching the anime (since it spoils the hell out of game, obviously). But, if you don't think you'll ever play it, I'd say go ahead and watch it.
Is the persona anime any good? Friend of mine really likes the games, but I've never played them. Worth watching?
Persona 4: The Animation was decent. The game is way better, though. Stay away from Trinity Soul.
Is the persona anime any good? Friend of mine really likes the games, but I've never played them. Worth watching?
Which one?
Real men play Warcraft 3
Fixed. Im kidding, but I think its crazy that this whole new generation of RTS players dont even know where these games came from.
