Eveyuu for Sanka and Evetaku for IxB. Final8 might be cool as well (Evetaku's subs on BDs), but I've never used them for anything.
So I was looking through my older Youtube uploads (early 2011) and I found this

Can't wait for the TTGL blu-rays that comes out this summer. It was reported that it's gonna be a true HD and not an upscale.
Anyone happen to know when the DVD release of Berserk Golden Age Arc III: Descent is?
it's probably not been announced yet
How is it with anime movies in general?
As in, how big is the date gap between theater release and DVD release?

well it's different for each studio, but the second movie premiered in 23/6/12 and the DVD/BD was released on 5/12/12, so you can imagine a similar amount of time.
6 months oh my god I can't take this.
Wow the ending for Jojo 20. I have not witnessed something so powerful like that in the longest time.

the art was top notch too

I still believe that David Production sneaked into Production I.G.'s studio and stole everything from their animation budget safe
i started on evangelion
at which episode does it become the best anime ever or is it really overhyped
It's really overhyped.

It's, uh. Incredibly overhyped.
aren't the movies like a lot better than the series?
Just started Mononoke
I'm really loving the painting-like art style so far.
Evangelion is overhyped in that its only an 8/10, not a 10/10 like some would say. I still think it was amazing, and to say otherwise probably means that you have gotten used to Evangelion existing and forgotten some of its simple pleasures. The setting alone is legendary.
The animation has gotten dated, so the rebuilds are really "where its at". If you havent seen the series by now, you might as well not bother and just watch the movies.
I liked Evangelion for what it is, a dark Mecha show that pretends to be way deeper then it actually is.
The animation was fine. It doesn't look terrible and it has that old painted background charm.
Now Initial D on the other hand...

It's a 6/10 show you dumbnut.
Simple pleasures? You mean the annoying characters? Non-existing plot? Pointless DEEP things? A nonsensical story?
I dunno, what is this simple pleasure that NGE holds that you are talking about?
The setting? Legendary? How so?
the simple pleasure of watching gendo do his thing
that and the fan art, especially of gendo with any form of creepy smile

What order should the movies be watched in?
What order should the movies be watched in?
1.0 and then 2.0
1.0 and then 2.0
in hindsight that was a really dumb question. I figured there were more movies for some reason.
there are
for rebuild, 1, 2, 3 and 4
3 isn't out yet (in theatres it is though)
the old movies are hardly worth watching, but this is the two seperate lines anyway
NGE > Death and Rebirth? > End of Evangelion
Rebuild 1.0 > Rebuild 2.0 > Rebuild 3.0 > Rebuild 4.0
