Eh, it's interesting at best. I never really liked prequels.
Also a bit iffy because you never really knew too much about Motoko. You only ever got to see snippits and peeks of her past and her personal life outside of Section 9.
this isn't a prequel. it's a reboot, like the movies and tv-series not being in the same continuum
