I think Itazura na Kiss fits as well even though it isn't as hardly focused on the comedy, but it's damn fucking good.

I picked up Chihaya Furu and watched the first season, it's funny how tense an anime about card games can be.

The amount of panties in early episodes put some doubts in my mind but Sakurasou has just gotten better and better. Nice to see characters actually improve, Sorata was an awkward mess but now he's cool cat (literally in that last episode).
Ryuunosuke is a silent champ too.
