I tried defending Another for as long as I could, but it really just becomes too predictable and Final Destination-esque the second half of the show. That, and the final episode was just all loads of retarded. I'd still give it a high 6 or low 7 for comedic and entertainment value.

It's death scenes were silly and over the top, and I didn't think the ending was too bad, I still really enjoyed it for what it was.

I don't think anyone has said that it's terrible. It just becomes really underwhelming and redundant past a certain point(cue ominous music, tension, have someone kick the bucket, rinse & repeat). With all of the great shows that are airing this season and finished airing in the last, I'm pretty sure that Another would be on the bottom of the list for shows to catch up on.

Actually, Monster seems to be very reasonably priced on amazon, about $8 or so per volume.
