Let's just end this before it begins, the animal in that gif that I cannot for the life of me recall the name of right now is rapidly approaching extinction due to people thinking it's really adorable, and poachers in the country they're native to are poaching so many of them that their numbers are rapidly dwindling. They are nocturnal creatures that have awesome night vision, but bright conditions, like those shown, cause them immense physical pain, they live so far out of the way of humans that they haven't adapted to us at all, and their best defense mechanism is just doing what they think we want them to do to get us to leave them alone. Their most useful teeth are removed before being shipped halfway around the world because their bite can be poisonous (although not fatal). It's a cute image, for sure, but what you're seeing is a terrified animal that is in physical pain.
