He's also Ian Fleming's cousin. And I heard when he played the mummy in in 1959 there was a scene where he was supposed to break open a door but it was accidentally bolted shut during filming so he just broke through it instead. He dislocated his shoulder doing it but it ends up in the movie.

Wasn't there an actor in LOTR someone accidentally threw a prop knife at, and he deflected it with his sword, and they kept it in the movie? I think they were meaning to throw it at his chest since it was a real knife and his chest had protection, but they misjudged the throw and it actually went flying straight towards his face, and he managed to deflect it with his sword followed by an expression of "holy shit" that wasn't exactly acting.

Yep, that was the actor for Aragorn. The actor for the Uruk-Hai misjudged the throw because in that scene, the Uruk-Hai actor's mask/makeup messed with his depth perception. In the same fight scene, the actor was supposed to fake-headbutt Aragorn's actor, but misjudged it for the same reason and actually headbutted him.
