you need to keep your eye at least 3inches away from the lens to see clearly

I think it's just some shitty perspective. He's either looking with his right eye and the drawing portraits it in a wonky way, or he's got his left eye [B]pressed into the fucking scope[/B], which is one of the Top Ten Methods to Painfully Remove Your Eyeballs.

That's not his nose, that's just the edge of the scope. You can see at the top part that the scope is actually in front of his nose.

From the thumbnail it looks like the scoped is pressed up against my left eye. However if you open the image you'll see that it is, in fact, in front of my right eye.

if what you are claiming is true, then the bridge of his nose measures 4 pixels across, yet in the other pictures it shows him with a nose that measures 7-9 pixels across, therefore the scope is covering 3 or more pixels implying that the scope is in front of the nose.
