Because when people like them or people view the pages (IE you viewing it to take a screenshot and complain on facepunch about it) They rack of a massive total likes and page views. They then sell their facebook page to a company who wants to sell a product, and then that company rebrands the page. People see that the page for the product with 36 trillion likes, and think it must be a GREAT product.
TL;DR: marketing.
