Broke my headset once by accidentally stepping on it and ripping out the wires internally. Opened it up and sautered them back, but reversed them by mistake. The ear piece became a working microphone, and the microphone never worked again. So I wore it around my neck to use ventrilo while wearing a working headset to hear game audio
