I like to think of the creation of the universe like it was a big room (Multiverse, Metaverse) with a thin wall in the middle.
This wall isn’t really perfect, it contains holes and cracks.
This wall is the only thing that separates Logic from illogic (chaos according to philosophy).
Sometimes illogic get through the wall into the logic, and that leads to random things happening.
One or many (according to the Multiverse-theory that I support) times, that lead to an random explosion with inconceivable amounts of matter (white hole), problem is that just before it there was no time so time had to appear in that occasion that is usually called Big Bang.
This isn’t anything unique; it may have happened elsewhere and therefore have created other universes (according to the Multiverse-theory) where, for example, time worked differently.
Example; in this universe, time goes forward, but it’s completely plausible for other universes that have other time-laws, maybe that time goes backwards, or to the left.
Problem with this hypothesis is that it’s mostly rather evidence less, only based on (evidencevise) on the WMAP cold spot, the rest is just philosophical.

That however is my theory on the origin of the universe.
