Not only is your question offensive, too soon, and irrelevant, but you could have just Googled your question:
Get well Sobotnik!! This is why I like this forum the most, I don't post here regurlarly, but every post I read feels like there was a real person behind it and not some random idiot blabbering on a keyboard.
Again NOT trying to stir up "is euthanasia a sin/etc", just wondering on a legal level where it stands
So you just came here wondering that, the legality of suicide? Well let's pretend you did, and couldn't find out yourself, so here: Legal in most western places like North America, U.K., EU nations etc. Illegal in most Islamic/African countries. North Korea will punish your family for it. India/Singapore/Malaysia all seem to follow a 1 year jail time and/or a fine, to name some.. And that's just attempting/committing suicide, assisting is another thing.

Completely agree with you on the timing and simple Google search. Get well soon Sobotnik! We're all one family who are always here for one another

It's a valid concern, the legal standpoint. It's not illegal in Scotland either.. Anyways, fuck it. Let us try to imagine ourselves in a similar situation. It must be challenging to go through something like that, coming back to the life which you were about to leave behind. Hell even coming back to this darn website. It's hard to imagine.. I want to say that I don't view him any differently than I did before. Yes, I may know this little fact about him, his attempt, however what's done is done, and I hope his will to live isn't completely drained after this. We can fill each other's cups when one of us spills it. But by also giving them their own space and privacy when they need it, because when they need us, we're here.
