Gran Turismo 4. You already played it on an emulator, yes, but it's a really intensive game so it probably lagged and stuttered extremely.
My friend also lent a GT4 copy in horrible shape, everytime I finish a race the loading icon turns red. Too bad, I spent hours playing GT2 on PS1. And yeah it lagged horribly in emulator.
time crisis 2 re: code veronica x evil dead: a fistful of boomstick [editline]20th March 2014[/editline] get a guncon off ebay (and make sure you have a crt (or get one of those better custom ones that are more expensive))
You can probably skip Killzone. Mechanically, it has not aged well at all.

Burnout 3
[t]http://www.everyeye.it/public/covers/06072009/yakuza.jpg[/t] absolutely sick gameplay with great graphics and fantastic story
if you're a fan of platformers and hence have played most of the better known ones, you should seek out Kya: Dark Lineage the game world is one of the most awesomely conceived and executed fantasy environments I've ever seen, and in addition to that there's a great combat system, exploration and even train heists carried out on horseback (well, weird-alien-ruminant-back). get it off ebay or something, it's brilliant

and Loved these, only ever met one other person who had played them and we both agreed they were easily in our top 5 favourite games.
James Bond. Everything or nothing.

So many days of my childhood well wasted on this game.
-SSX's (exept On Tour)
What was wrong with On Tour?
Other than the cars that steers like boats, this game has a whole lot of customization for vehicles and it has a kickass soundtrack Pretty much the same game with the same map, but the cars controls better and looks better. Both games are about racing on a huge highway in Japan and becoming the fastest on the Wangan.
Some people might've already said it, but I recommend all of the Sly Cooper games, and all of the Ratchet & Clank games. Particularly Up Your Arsenal, it's damn fun. Both series have a bunch of those parts where you have to try the same part a few times over again until you progress, but I personally think that adds to the "fun" level, in a way.
Fucking TimeSplitters. also personal favorites: Silent Hill 2 Silent Hill 3 Okami Medal of Honor series 007 Nightfire Ratchet and Clank series and goddamn METAL GEAR (2 -3)
Are any of the Final Fantasy games good? I heard Ratchet and Clank is fun as well.
12 is probably best gameplay-wise
Play it
Obligatory
Jak 3
Because playing it on the PC isn't enough? v:v:v
