I wasn't here when he made those threads, but I do know this.
When he did, there was a spark of light in the dreary, clouded, and gray area known as general discussion.

Not only that, his art style was a joke, which is probably why he didn't post it in CC because he knew it was worthless. If I knew I could draw stick figures with hastily thrown on faces that take 0 imagination, and are also taken primarily from 4chan's reaction images meme, then I would be rolling in fans too. He also thought that if he threw in a few splodges of color (Seen in jello) he could make it look way more artsy than before, and it worked. Most of his drawings were just stupid diagrams anyway that take no skill.
Then his humor.
Oh god, his humor. This is probably why people here liked it so much, with hilarious swear words thrown in to ordinary speech, and how ordinary that speech was. Maybe it escaped you people, but all of his hilarious jokes were just taking a completely boring and uninteresting premise, using a lot of italics and capital letters and making it seem "Lol random". Oh my god guys its TOAST lol! And this isn't just a dragon, it's a FUCKING dragon, omg im rolling around on the floor laughing.
