The thread in my title.
My dad was in the music industry in the late 80s and the 90s, and he always used to have famous musicians at the house, and bon jovi came over but I had to go to bed before I could talk to them. (I was 5 or 6)
Hasn't happened yet.
I accidentally ran into Stan Lee at the 2010 San Diego Comic-con. The comic-con is so crowded that I try to get around everywhere as fast as possible. I was leaving the convention area to get outside when there was a slow moving old guy in the way and I ran into him. Suddenly cameras surrounded the guy and I was extremely confused. I did a double-take before noticing it was Stan Lee. On the same day I met Seth Green. I was looking for an Alien action figure (I love the franchise) when I went to a stall there he was. I had a very brief conversation and then he booked it outta there. He moves like a water snake slithering through tall grass. Also on the promo day (the day before the comic-con "starts") I didn't have my own ticket (I had someone else's who didn't go). Before you can enter you have to show ID or prove that it is you. I didn't know anything about the guy except with a piece of paper with his address, name, and job. I failed to get in with the first security person I met so I went to a different one. I felt so awesome knowing I sneaked into the comic-con.
shit man, similar thing happened to me at Supanova: There was a big queue for whatever but the orderly line collapsed and turned into a blob. I couldn't navigate and squeezed awkwardly through the crowd and then BAM next thing you know I've got a face full of sweaty man tit.
I was top of the Sin and Punishment 2 global leaderboards for two months one summer on a couple of levels
Not really a 15 minute thing but it made me feel 15mins of fame when I realised one of my youtube videos had reached 100k views. Its not even a good video...
I made a thread on /b/ that got real popular and hovered on the first few pages for the day.
