My father side of the family has a history of physical issues aswell as alcoholism and drug addiction. Being a casual drinker, I tend to worry about whether or not I'll swear by the bottle myself. I already drink a wee bit when I can if I'm sad, but I can also stay dry for months on end without having any specific urges.

Its annoying that the word "depression" has such a stigma now. Due to stupid, immature twats using the word "depression" when they're sad or to get attention makes it absolutely horrible for the actual people that have depression. And whats even more annoying is that i fully believed that depression wasn't an actual thing when i was younger because i was in with the "emo" crowd and the friends i had would say they were "depressed" just to get attention. It made me think of anybody that said they were depressed were just faking it to get attention.

Until i got it, when my dads ex left him and my dad, every night, for 2 hours, moaned to me about why his life was so awful and that he hasn't done anything good in his life. He said that to his son, every night for about 3 months whilst i was doing my degree. It lead to me dropping out of my degree for my own mental health, i was failing hard because all i wanted to do was sleep and never wake up, the bus rides to my course i'd be praying that the bus would crash and just ending it all, one time i even got off the bus early and walked into some woods and sat there for an hour crying uncontrollably, and i don't cry. My dad made me feel like i wasn't anything to him. And this was the man who i looked up to from the age of 2 all the way till i was 18 because my mum left all of us when i was a baby and i saw my dad as a hero. Thank god that my mate was moving out of his parents house and needed a second person to afford rent.

Depression sucks and it fucking hurts, nothing like a broken bone or stubbing your toe, it actually hurts inside and leaves the worst scar on you forever.

I enjoy putting stupidly ridiculous shit in any of the assignments I do for school to make things more enjoyable for myself. A case description I had to do for a database design involved a cheap Chinese knockoff of spotify called wankify. I put a load of images on it with Mao Zedong and more shit like that, one of the entities in my database model is called wankuser for this reason.

The schematical designs of the user interface of our group assignment is also filled to the brim with nonsensical crap, like images of the peanutbutter baby everywhere. If I had to do it all 100% serious I would just drive myself insane
