The sad thing is that with this mindset we need famous people to suffer for it just so we can see how much of a big deal of it is. I was mad and upset when Robin Williams passed due to depression and all I can think of was "Why couldn't someone TRY to help him?!"

The worst part? My cousin died the exact same way months later. Got depressed, cut all contact from us, and drank himself to death. He wasn't the nicest person in the world, so in the end, I was just at a crossroads with my stance on depression.

i was doing a freelance job online and i basically was commissioned to write a short horror story about a man who is shrunk to a tack-size by his psychopath brother.

the client wanted me to be excruciatingly detailed about the torture methods (making the small brother go through his pubes like a jungle, the details of his scrotum at a microscopic size, being placed in shit, all pretty vile and sexually charged). i took the job because he was willing to pay 800 and i was like damn so i tried it out. the client was nice, gave me his email and i asked for his skype to keep up with him quicker.

then i thought: wait something is fishy here

i searched his email in and found it linked on a roleplaying forum with a thread from 4 years ago.

"Hey does anyone want to do a shrinking roleplay? Here's my email"

i then noticed his username was the [U][B]same name that he wanted the main character's name to be.[/B][/U]

i ask him to up my pay, then suddenly his account disappeared.

i emailed the site and apparently his account got flagged for "breaking site rules" or something

he messaged me on skype later claiming i "deleted the job"

i blocked him from all contact after.
