It would look like an average retail job to an employer. I'm gonna fill that application tomorrow despite what my family wishes.

If you're not prepared to listen to people's fetishes and answer questions about adult DVDs and what not, I wouldn't bother. Talking about this stuff online is one thing, but being face to face to someone is totally different. I went to a sex shop one time to buy a DVD, and I have the case in my hand while still browsing other stuff and this guy and girl come in. The girl had to be in her 40's, but the guy was definitely in his 60's. As I was walking around the store minding my own business, the guy comes up to me and asks what kind of DVD I had. It was a hentai and he seemed super surprised that they made drawn porn. Then he started asking me a bunch of questions like "do they suck each other off in it" and what not. Needless to say I was like "what" and just sorta answered "yes" to all his questions. The girl told me this was his first time ever coming into a place like this, he had no idea stores like this existed I guess. I quickly grabbed a few more things, bought my stuff, then left. I can't imagine the horror stories a cashier has from working in a sex shop.

There is a sex shop 10 mins from my house and while I was looking for a job, I was sincerely thinking about going there and ask for a job. Thankfully, I found my current job around that time.
