I've never felt afraid of coming out as bi to people around me but I don't really tell them unless they ask me.

My mother and my older brother are okay with it, so I see no problem. My father doesn't know but I really don't care about his opinion at this point since he doesn't live with me anymore. Mom says dad would probably blame it on her for my preferences but that's odd given that my mother has always been really strict with me as kid, she always pushed me to try getting into sports and do good at school, she would also discipline me physically when I didn't behave correctly. My dad in the other hand always overprotected me and acted soft on me, always giving me everything I wanted and buying me with stuff.

I really don't see why it's bad for people to have preferences. I mean, unless they are hurting someone else, I don't see anything wrong with two consenting adults of the same sex doing what they want.

I feel like most younger people feel this way now. Generally, older people are the ones who hate homosexual people but it seems rare for young people to be like that.
