My mother has been locked up in a holding facility hours away from us for about 3-4 years now. She was the book-keeper for a business that dealt with building materials or something like that, and apparently they were dealing in some shady transactions? I'm not entirely sure how this whole thing works but the business went under, and the guy that used to be her boss throws the blame on her, which got her locked up and now this motherfucker is trying to sue my dad and stepdad for everything they own I guess. So for the last few years or so I've lived alone pretty much as my stepdad is constantly out of town, only home for a few days at a time, and even when he is home we don't exactly get along too well, I try to keep to myself because I'm afraid he'll blow up and go apeshit (like one time where he cut the end off of the Ethernet chord) over a dog going missing (my mother had us bring home two dogs, puppies really, that refused to listen except when my stepdad was home, and since we live in the boonies these dogs really shouldn't have been out there in the first place...) or something else entirely. As a result of his occasional meltdowns on me, and the lack of anyone that is able to constantly be there for me I think my overall self-esteem took a dive, among other things. And he says a lot of stuff I don't necessarily agree with but I still keep my mouth shut and agree with him whenever he asks for my input, because the last thing I want is conflict. I don't know he...doesn't say what's on his mind enough. He's very much a "man's man". So if I need to get something off my chest, I have to either go to my girlfriend, my best friend, internet friends who I normally vent to when they're around, my Dad (who I barely see except in the morning since he takes me to the bus stop and sometimes on the weekends since he's always busy), or his girlfriend who is the only mother figure I have in my life at the moment, and even then I still don't get many chances to talk to her, but when I do I make sure to tell her exactly what's on my mind. There's a lot that I'm missing but the entire point of this post is I guess I wanted to get my current condition out there in some way or form. I spend a lot of my time on the computer since there isn't much to do out here and anyone that I care about lives a fair distance away, so I tend to rely on internet friends, or y'know, places like this. And even then a lot of the time I have to rely on music to get away from everything. Of course things are getting better, I've gotten my Driver's Permit, so at least freedom is only a few months away, and my mother will be out before Thanksgiving of this year so hopefully things can start to improve. Even if this whole post has been rambling about all sorts of stuff I just want to say... This forum and you people are great, never change. <3

Generally alcohol is involved, people get horny and make mistakes. Doesn't make you an evil motherfucker. Not saying that's what's going on in Tools case, but come on.

Every time I put it down I just want to pick it back up. I haven't had this much fun playing a game since I first got Dark Souls. Like, I'm legitimately having fun and I'm happy.

No one in my various friend circles around where I currently live know that I make music, even though it is the most defining trait about me in my opinion. It's really because the music we all bond over is nowhere near the stuff I personally make, so I know that they would all hate my art. :cry:

Eurobeat is a guilty pleasure of mine. Especially the cheesy "Love, love" kind of songs. Helps a lot when drawing some of my characters.

As a result of me not updating Windows 8 for a few years and/or Nvidia having really fucked up drivers for their 3D tech garbage, I am currently trying to delete 40GB worth of files. Each file is no more than 512KB. I am deleting over 112,000 files. There's more than that, but I'm just making some space. I also made the mistake of trying to delete all 112,000 files at the same time, and Windows has been trying to delete them all for the past hour and a half. I don't even know if it's still going, but I am holding out.
