headphones because they silence everything else better and they also warm up my ears when i'm outside
I use Earbuds when I am on the move and have no storage for any type of Headphones.
I listen a lot of my music on my ipod, especially at my way to school, I can't find any space to put my headphones in.

you don't need storage space for headphones
they go around your neck when you're not using them
I use headphones indoors, earbuds outdoors.
Wearing headphones looks stupid imo and if you wear them around your neck you look like a neckbeard

I guess, but in my school they are really against headphones in general for whatever reason. Plus I feel like I become a mugging target if I walk with them outdoors.
Buds are like a shitty monthly subscription, where as phones are la better value at a higher up front cost (Unless you get garbage like beats but this is true of buds too)
I'm not saying headsets aren't way better but you can't really talk shit about earbuds when you can get practically perfect ones for a little more than $5.
I've worn headphones so much over the years there's something of a permanent mark in my hair. It's just completely flat where they rest on my head.

I have like a little indentation in my head from wearing headphones too much :v:
also congrats on post 2k
As long as I can make out the sound, I really don't care either way
My hearing sucks so I don't really notice a difference between 128kbps music tracks and 320kbps. Is there even a difference?
I'm a little conscious of my post count in comparison to others who joined around the same time or after me.

For most people, the only percieved difference will come when the song is played very loud though expensive speakers, i.e. a club environment. If you really want to try to hear the difference on your normal headphones, listen to the extreme highs in a song + things that are hard panned left or right, because those are what mp3 compression likes to take away.
At least twice I nearly could've started a fire from cooking. The first time was forgetting to turn the oven off after baking cookies, and the second time was reheating spaghetti in the microwave with the fork still on the plate.

I envy, nothing makes you feel more alive and glad about being alive than dying in dreams and near death accidents.

You live in Finland, aren't you experiencing this feeling every single day for the whole winter long?
At least, a friend of mine told me she'd thank the gods if she made it back home to the warmth

I'd need more fingers than I possess to count the number of times I've almost died. When it comes to death, I am very apathetic.

I wouldn't mind if I died tbh, as long as I can write a will and let you guys know

I wear headphones outside even when I don't have music playing through them because it partially blocks out really loud stuff like ambulances that hurt my ears, and it also pins my excessive hair out of my face

it also silences all the potheads on the tram
I don't like live music at all, it has always been a massive disappointment and I much prefer listening to studio recordings. I don't get the WOW YOU GOTTA HEAR THEM LIVE thing, every concert I've been to has varied from boring (music is too loud my feet hurt why are those people jumping up and down it sounds better on my phone) to downright awful (band shows up absolutely wasted lead singer got throat surgery and sounds ridiculous now, everyone is fat and wheezing).
It probably doesn't help that I've never considered myself a fan of any band. I listen to albums once or twice and then delete all but one or two songs that I like because I don't get the whole "album as an experience" thing either. According to some people I'm Hitler because of that though.

If it's pirate metal that's part of the show. Beer bongs between every song.

the sound quality of headphones are better but they hurt my ears becuase of my glasses

Live shows are always hit and miss, but they're generally the best when the band is "in their prime" so to speak. For example Nirvana, in 1990 they were full of energy and had fantastic fucking shows (The Off Ramp is a good one), then by 1993-4 they just sound bored and tired.

From a technical standpoint, yeah there's a pretty big difference.
NPR did a thing: http://www.npr.org/sections/therecord/2015/06/02/411473508/how-well-can-you-hear-audio-quality
'Monty' also does a good video on it if you're so inclined: http://downloads.xiph.org/video/Digital_Show_and_Tell-720p.webm

I try to get a pair of earbuds for when I know my headphones will be an inconvenience but each and every time they die on me within a few months.
