On the topic of sleeping naked, as a recovering alcoholic, I've found myself waking up on the floor completely naked after a black out, shivering from the cold of the floor not being a good heat conductor. How did this situation originate anyway? What was the intention behind being naked in the first place, and why did I end up on the floor?

Aside from that, just take it easy and give him time to trust you properly. From the sound of it you're taking good care of him so far so just keep that up. While I can't speak for guinea pigs I've had several rabbits for a duration of several years and while not the exact same type of animal they do have alot of things in common (not to mention they can live together) so if you have any questions I could help you with that as well. (Although MrJazzy could probably help you more with guinea pig specifics.)

I shower before I go to bed, instead of after I wake up. This is super weird according to my friends, but it's how I've always done it.

Everyone I know that I've talked to about this shower in the morning, the exception is one girl I used to go to school with that would sometimes shower before going to bed. I tend to shower in the morning because it helps wake me up and I just feel fresher. I've showered before going to bed sometimes, but that's mostly if I have to get up really early to be somewhere the next day. Showering before bed tends to fuck up my hair the next day, though.

I always shower in the evening to get rid of all the filth and sweat after a long day. Everyone I know does the same. Helps keep the bed fresh for longer too.

I shower every two days, can't be bothered to do it everyday

I've now gotten the habbit of showering everyday, even if it's a weekend where I'm not going to be doing anything at all.

I shower once a week and nobody ever told me that i smell bad. Sure if it's hot than i will shower more than once, but I really don't get this "shower every day" thing, because to me it just seems some sports freak gimmick, used to keep your water bill rolling.

Sure you don't have to shower every single day, but only once a week is gross. And remember, just because nobody is saying you smell bad doesn't mean you don't smell bad.
