We're all ugly irl.
A while back I categorized my steam library in to a few categories to make it better organized while helping me to work through my backlog - Endless Games, Finished Games, and Unfinished Games. The idea, of course, being to spend time on the unfinished ones.
I've got about 31 games in my finished games category.
I have 92 in my unfinished games category. :unimpressed:

I've done that too, 80 finished to 128 unfinished games. There's lots of great games I started years ago and want to beat, but just lost interest after not playing them for a while. They are all good games so I have no idea why I just stop.
:frown: I just got my rejection letter from Boston College today
I'm still waiting on them, I've been waitlisted/rejected from NYU, Berkeley, Michigan, Cornell, UWashington, and Fordham so far...
I'm never confident when I form my own thoughts and opinions because I'm afraid of being wrong and being unable to defend them, so I just parrot other people's opinions that I agree with.

Why would you feel the need to defend yourself? Anxiety is just a notion of expectations, let go of this notion and if you're wrong about something you have the opportunity to learn about who you'd want to be, and if you're right you're reinforcing your sense of belonging.
You have to trust your own judgement in order to grow. Understand that expressing yourself during periods of anxiety is a courageous act, which causes you to grow, then you form bigger opinions which causes you to grow even more. So you always win.

When someone has a different opinion from me and asks me to justify myself. I struggle enough to form my own thoughts and opinions on a subject, so I mostly parrot what other people say.

I do
I am absolutely shit at debating.
Even if I tend to have a strong argument to something, I will lose somehow.
When something bad happens I often look guilty even if I had nothing to do with it so people suspect me.

You're talking about opinions and subjects like there's some kind of war going on where you have to exert yourself and compete to nourish yourself. There's no need to bother with other peoples concrete formed opinions. Because in the end, it's just pursuing emptiness. It's about who can hold the strongest conviction about a certain idea.

Debating is just divisive speech, one of the addictions that causes suffering. An empty practice leading nowhere. Being good at winning battles is inherently pointless, since war negates creation.

I don't have much will power to debate. I'm far too lazy.
"Eh...fuck it, who cares lol."
I once poured battery acid on my tongue for $20.
Wasn't worth it. That shit hurts.

My debating skills are also awful. I tend to listen to arguments as opposed to participating in them.
I'll leave the debating to those who can actually do it well.
since we are covering debating,
Being on sensationalist headlines for so long, through participation and even just reading and examining how people make their points, has helped me argue lot better, now to the point that I argue so well in person, that people seem to fear me in debate (still not sure if thats good or bad)

Better to be feared.

I practice debating in sensationalist headlines too, but I don't think I've gotten any better.
My debating ability ranges somewhere between "very well thought out, and logical" and "threatening with grievous harm."
my experience with debating online has made me avoid it a lot of the time, depending on how people portray their side
I feel like it's made me miss out on a lot of interesting conversations, but there's too many people who are there to tell you their opinions over anything else which kinda spoils the whole thing
I draw some strange enjoyment from shows that recount urban legends and ghost stories. It's all bunk and I know it, but I guess that's the fun. Can't stand shows about ghost hunters and shit though.

Depending how hard you want to go, there are some great books on debate. It made me quite a bit better at using rhetoric in real life.

So you just nod or shake you fist at them?
Phew... I thought I was the only one.
Debating is using reasoning to justify reasoning, a form of clinging to pride. In Islamic faith, some believers hold that the path of fighting is the path of life. Do we really need to indulge in those kind of behaviors?
I debate online cause I want to learn things, not because I want to win an argument - so in that sense I don't give a crap who's right or wrong because really what does it matter.

Contemplating without using tantric rhetoric is more effective when pursuing the notion of understanding knowledge.

Debate is more than that, I'd argue it's the art of persuasion.

Be mindful about the practice then, as an entertaining approach is more appealing than finding the flaw behind a persona that is susceptible to suggestive deduction, as that part is inherently enclosed in mechanisms of self-defense.

I'm a hypocrite!?
I propose that debating is frivolous and meaningless yet find myself debating about the existence of God in another forum. That's actually funny too, because me practicing my own religion is rejecting the notion of God. The decadence of arguing for the sake of arguing, so addictive.
Buddhism rejects God because Buddha reached a higher spiritual plane of existence than God, experiencing something even greater. Which is why he abandoned his possessions, theistic religions promote creation like producing societal comforts. Buddha teaches that reaching an even higher level through meditation makes the mind not require any creation. Having ascended reality as we understand it.

That doesn't even make sense to myself. I am so sleep deprived and tired but it's in the middle of the day. My new medication makes it difficult to sleep.
Bro what kind of herbs have you been smoking
