• Why is earth and other planets rotate around sun?
We're all going to die way before the Earth spirals too close to the Sun. In what is estimated to be 5 billion years, the Sun will turn into a red giant and Earth will be toasted.
Oh I knew that but I didnt want to get into that and go off topic, still why are people arguing with me in this thread, just look at my images.
Oh I knew that but I didnt want to get into that and go off topic, still why are people arguing with me in this thread, just look at my images.
I can make images too. Doesnt make them right.
In layman's terms: 1. Yes everything will inevitably go out of orbit, either into or away from the Sun. 2. The planets orbit and rotate due to the momentum caused by the birth of our Solar System. * Thus, the gravitational pull of the Sun does not pull any of the planets directly in. 3. Not everything rotates around the Sun in a perfect circle.
All the rotation and orbit of planets and everything else in the Solar System comes from when the formation of our system was triggered by a supernova.
That would make everything else plausible, but how do we know that happened? It's foolish to afirm something happened billions years ago, you cannot know. And if it would, from what did the big bang (or whatever theories are there)came to exist? there was an infinit of nothingness and it apeared out of...nothing?And then it formed time, space and matter? BS
Life itself ends in about 1000 or so years, then in 3 billion years shit hits the fan and in 2 billion after that the sun engulfs Earth if it's still there.
I can make images too. Doesnt make them right.
Did I say that just because I can make images it makes them right? however they are right, what exactly do you think is wrong with them? [editline]10:25AM[/editline]
Not arguing, just saying.
I wasnt refering to you.....

BS
Scientists don't just, "make shit up." Clearly, they have studied other solar systems before coming to a universally recognised theory. [editline]06:27PM[/editline] You don't just call bullshit on science. Nothing is set in stone, it's always changing and improving.
Well for one, the spiral is exceedingly ridiculous.
on the picture? yes. I did say it would take millions of years for it to reach the sun if it were allowed to do so. [editline]10:35AM[/editline] okay im going now im done argueing for today.
The thing is this is all a big pile of shit. We're born out of nothing, we know nothing , we try to find about elementary stuff in life as we go on and we fail. Then there is death, about wich noone knows nothing. For why are we still trying to impose theories that are meaningless and useless after all. We cannot save ourselfes from the state we are in...
Magnets, find out the rest yourself.

BS
So your real question isn't "Why do the planets travel in an orbit" but it is "Where did everything come from?" Which we, most likely, have no answer for. Just because we don't have an explanation for what was before the Big Bang doesn't mean the Big Bang didn't happen. There is ample evidence for it. Just because something doesn't make sense to you doesn't mean it didn't happen. Just because a human can not comprehend it does not mean it can not exist. What state are we in that we need to be saved from? Whats your point?

Please shove your philosophical nonsense up your arse.
Trying to gather knowledge on how we've come to be is not, "meaningless and useless." Please shove your philosophical nonsense up your arse.
From what we know now, logically it is.
Trying to gather knowledge on how we've come to be is not, "meaningless and useless." Please shove your philosophical nonsense up your arse.
It's meaningless and useless because we dont find that knowledge. And what's usefull to? You are still going to be a putrefied piece of chemical compounds in 60-80 years.(talking about the body, dont be offensed, i dont say sould doesnt exist or something else)
So your real question isn't "Why do the planets travel in an orbit" but it is "Where did everything come from?"
I have many questions my dear friend, and i dont think i will find them, it's just not meant to find something about it, we are all surounded by a dark infinite nothing.Even so, everything is in a wonderfull beaut, from planets to stars to human body, animals and so on, they're meant to evolve... Well that's just my opinion.

That's how we've become and don't worry, I'm not particularly religious. [editline]06:59PM[/editline] By the way, if you're looking for the answer to life, you're not going to find one. I myself don't think there is one. Stop being a wet blanket.
That's what i said too, its not meant to be known about, at least not while we're living in here. We should preocupy more about the things down here on earth. Even if we know that earth circles sun, we know everything about planets , it would still be no help to further advanced knowlege that we try to find.

But it's pretty damn useful for science. [editline]07:12PM[/editline] ... and that's all that matters to me.

We are trying to find knowledge about how the universe works, and knowing that the earth circles the sun definitely contributes to that. Those geneva scientists try to open a worm hole to shovel the junk in there?why would we do that, every piece of this earth is precious in its own way,its just that we fool around and extract all earth's juice from petrolium to mineral gases and so on.We're heading to mars to do what? You can't play the role of creation, it's beyound human's power to make mars a place to live. I dont quite have any hope in science...

Who is trying to open a worm hole to shovel what junk in where? No one is doing that. What makes you think humans can't make Mars a place to live?

Guess you-re right. It's not like i can change something.I was just letting my anger go. K now i found out the answer to my question...Thanks and have a good day.
a orbit
Gravity (the sun with its immense mass) forms a bulge in the fabric of space. The planets "sit" on this and travel in circles.
thankyou good sir for explaining as to why females gravitate towards my bulge.
