you can use the stolen SA emotes with relative ease, I'm uploading them to my dropbox, the whole thing is around a megabyte so it doesn't generate that much traffic.
you can do this by [noparse][img]-ing to
http://dl.dropbox.com/u/4608952/SAemots/emot-emotname.gif[/noparse]
where emotname.gif is the name of the emote that you would usually put in the colons
like doing
[noparse][img]http://dl.dropbox.com/u/4608952/SAemots/emot-ohdear.png[/img][/noparse]
would do this:
[img]http://dl.dropbox.com/u/4608952/SAemots/emot-ohdear.png[/img]
if gif doesn't work try png, though the vast majority are gif.
