funfact: The photographer wanted to get churchill to look imposing, but he was way too content and smiley. He yanked churchill's cigar right out of his mouth and captured the real scowl he got right then and there.

Ah, Churchill. Among the most badass leader in a war filled with badasses.
I've heard a story, several times, but never been able to verify. Maybe you all can help.
It went something like: "During the war, Churchill was visiting the States to gain American support, and stayed for a few days at the White House. Once, while he had a few hours to waste before a meeting, he was reading in the bath, and got so caught up in the book that he lost track of time. In fact, by the time he checked the clock, he was already several minutes late. He immediately jumped out of the bath and, still dripping and completely nude, dashed to the War Room. When he burst through the doors, everyone stared, then stared... a little bit lower.
The great Churchill responded "What are you looking at, homo?""
I'm inclined to doubt it, since it's rather ridiculous, but it's just plausible enough that I'd believe it if it showed up on wikiquotes or something.

I know it's probably late as all fuck, but I went and saw an art exhibition, where that was one of the main pieces.
It's very, very well done, bordering on lifelike, as was the rest of the stuff; worth seeing, or at least finding pictures of.

Bluh. I hate when people use this comic/argument to justify being overly whiny or bitchy about something completely inconsequential.
Like, I can understand that some people don't like the updates TF2 has gone through but if you go on a ten minute rant about "HAT FORTRESS 2 ART STYLE RUINED F2P-FAGS HURR DURR" I'm going to tell you to shut the fuck up regardless of how free the updates are.
