RIP Cartoon Network
I'm happy i grew up when i did. One of the reasons is for that right there.
When kids tv networks showed new cartoons THEY KNEW HOW TO SHOW THEM.
They devoted a whole night, a whole bump filled with new cartoons and they spent the whole week hyping you up for this shit. You got home from school on monday and just threw everything you had on the floor and turned the tv on to see what was instore for this friday. Who was going to be the host this week? You saw the promo and you'd either be disappointed "awww the mayor is hosting AGAIN?! He just hosted 2 weeks ago!" or you got all giddy when you heard that Mother fuckin' COW was hosting.
Your week slowly dragged on until it was that magical day again. Your tv would just explode with fun when you turned it on at 7pm.
Now a days, there is no hype, there is no buildup, all you see is "Hey new episode of some show is on friday" but this wasn't enough, NO! IT WASN'T! They completely ravaged the sacred night that was friday night and instead of having one giant power block of new shows, you had one new show a night. You had "that show" on Tuesday. You had "this show" Wednesday, and you had "some show" on Thursday. No build up at all, not comical witty guest hosting the show, just the show.
I take pride in knowing that i grew up with Cartoon Cartoon Fridays, and i pity the children of today who have "some show" playing tonight at 8.
That was a silly show, I mean who would make a sheep powered death ray.
A goddam incompetent Mad Scientist, that's who.
What about Armageddon? He was pretty fucking crazy in that one. He rode a Nuke like a horsey and shot up shit with a minigun.

This may apply to Paint but I've never had problems with compression pixelation when I save images as .jpg in Photoshop.
Granted I barely do it anymore but I still haven't had issues with it.
Photoshop pictures usually have enough colours that the compression isn't noticeable on individual ones.

Plus you can set it in Photoshop so that it makes an outrageously large jpg file with minimal appearance of artifacts.

'Tis true.

In high school, we had our names on a white board next to the lunch room with the birthdays for that week.
The only person who ever said happy birthday to me those days was the attendant who walked around while I sat outside the lunch room because I didn't have anyone to eat with

I remember an attempt nickelodeon did at trying to hype up a new episode of spongebob(that surfing one) by having Johnny Depp voice as a character in it. If I was still a kid I would have no idea who that is. Plus the episode wasn't so great.

You see it's funny because a Basset Hound is playing the president, and Bassets come from France. Thus the first dogs he calls upon would be the french.
Bassets are the most awesome dogs ever and having them in these Dogfort comics makes them 10000X better.
