I don't care if you like her songs or not, but you can't deny that Lady Gaga does have talent. Ke$ha will be gone in the next five, Miley Cyrus I have no idea, she's growing as an artist although I don't think she'll be around for the next 10 or even 5. Justin Bieber will also have to grow out of his role in a year or two, it really is up to him if he wants to mature as an artist or just stick around doing what he's doing now (and fade into obscurity in a few years).

That said, pop music will always be pop music and it will always be shallow. The only question is whether these artists wants to break out of this mold, or of they want to rehash the same music that's been made since the beginning of popular music.
