So I saw Straw War: The Awaking Force, and I gotta tell ya, it felt a little rushed.

I have tickets to TFA on Sunday with my brother and his fiancee... but I'm thinking of just saying fuck it and going earlier. I can't do this "waiting" thing.

Gah my legs hurt, walking home is always a pain but I had like 40kgs on my back and my bag only has one strap too. It really sucks for lifting heavier weights. But DnD was fun we didn't really do much except attack and kill a lot of people in a cave. It took us like 8 hours and we didn't really do anything significant except wandering around, there's still so much left. Also there was a floating skull that almost PK'd all of us on its first attack, that wasn't fun :< </blog>

Once everybody gets a feel for their characters and how the game works people will make good decisions faster and get on with things. Also once the DM is more used to the players they'll be able to work around that as far as balancing and plot goes.

It's pretty messy so that most likely contributes a lot. I feel like most people understand their characters now, it was just an incredibly slow clear. It's a huge dungeon which apparently is canon and in some early 5e campaign or something.
