The year is 2034 in America. Protesting without a permit is a serious crime. Punishments include up to 10 years house arrest, protest permits cost around $650,000 and you can only have a maximum of 50 citizens in a protest, any more and police will be forced to break it up and put everyone suspected under house arrest and be fined without due process. Anyone participating in a protest that is not a united states citizen or has a criminal record will be sentenced to 10 years house arrest. Protesting tier 1 private organizations such as banks, oil and various financing institutions is illegal and will result in 10 years house arrest or the revoking of citizenship.
