This final paper prompt for one of my classes is too progressive even for me. Like it's all about white innocence and that because I am not protesting literally every single issue 24 hours a day that I am 100% part of every social problem in the world. The essays I need to talk about are all basically professional activists circle jerking by saying how they are the only good people in the world and even those who join them in protests are not as moral as they are.

It's basically like saying that my great grandparents enabled Stalin's systematic killings of millions of people because they were citizens of the USSR even though they fled the country due to fear of being killed. My personal opinion on the matter is that everyone is born a blank slate, so you have to prove that you are a racist not prove that you are not a racist.
