One time at about midnight i heard someone shouting/saying my name, but everyone else was asleep so it definately wasnt any of my family. my friend who was with me at the time heard it aswell.

voices and such are often auditory hallucinations.

I think I hear thunder alot. Turns out to be a plane going over or some douche showing off his loud engine.

I'm lucky I don't hear shit even though this house is 120+ and its the oldest in my city. It's so old in fact the ceiling are 12 feet tall, this is because of heating in late 1800's was very effective people in early 1900 start reducing there height of there ceilings to save on cost of heating.

I swear I hear someone in my kitchen (right below my bedroom) in the middle of the night. I go to the stairs and listen down, and hear nothing. Also, I swear sometimes I see my dead for like 6 years cat in the corner of my eye, and other times my dead for 3 years hamster. Also, I hear the tinnitus noises too, it gets a bit irritating sometimes, but they've been commonplace since I started wearing a headset for gaming. Sometimes I also have conversations in my head with voices of friends/family, usually when I'm really tired in the middle of the night and I'm not thinking straight. Also, when I'm tired and sick I get delirious, and I see, hear, and think some fucked up shit. This one time I let my grandfather sleep in my room for Christmas, as he was over at our place so we could keep him company for his first Christmas since my grandmother died, and I slept in the basement on the futon. I had the worst fever and was in bed for the last day and a half sleeping, and that Christmas eve I woke up in the middle of the night thinking I'd deprived my grandfather of the privilege of sleeping on the rather uncomfortable and poorly padded futon, and that I needed to apologize in the morning. Thankfully, in the morning I was back in my right mind.

I once imagined sounds from Half-Life 2 like the crossbow shooting sound and 357. It freaked me out. I think it has happened with other games as well, like Resident Evil and Battlefield 2.

One time I heard a series of noises. I ended up walking all over the house, checking every inch, because I thought someone got in.

I hear barks sometimes, but yet again I have a pair of dogs and my windows always open. And I also hear people whispering my name over and over. And I hear creaks and rubbing of the floor, which is kind of odd.

I used to hear clicks downstairs, like computer mouse clicks. Now my dad's computer is right next to the staircase, so hearing clicks when nobody is there, odd. But he takes his computer with him when he leaves for the week, so hearing clicks when there is no computer or mouse to make them? Very odd. It doesn't happen anymore though.

This annoying beeeeeeeeeeeeeeep whenever there is absolute silence. And before you say 'lol tinnitus', I've had it since I was really young. Like, 3. Not many iPods and MP3s around then..

My neighbors shagging. Ugh.

I sometimes hear things moving in my attic or just outside my window. I went for a gander one night to see what it was and the light switch in my attic wouldn't work when I tried. :tinfoil:

At work, in the theater lobby I'll hear this slow-pulsating whine in my ears. No one else hears it, and I only hear it in that specific area.

I always hear someone walking in the hallway outside my room, but not footsteps. I only hear the creaking of the floor boards, even though my parents are always asleep. Just last night, I went to the bathroom and I heard it again, this time getting closer to the closed bathroom door. Now my toilet is right next to the door. At first I thought there was just really something there, or maybe someone upstairs. But, I thought, it couldn't be upstairs. I heard the floor creaking right outside the door. So I finish up and open the door. That's when I realize, there's *gasp* no one there but me. Then I heard the creaking again, while I stood still. brix were shat

A fucking owl that thinks my window is qualified as 'Scream as loud as you can and hit the glass with your beak' object. I shat fucking brix the first night he woke me up with that. I woke up by a loud bang and looked at the source to see those huge eyes staring at me. Then I trew my pillow at him and he was gone for a month. Yet I couldn't sleep.
