Sometimes there are crashes and bangs, to my 8 year old mind back in the day, I always thought it was goddamn E.T trying to break into my house and strangle me with his elasto neck :(
it's half 1 in the morning but you've already made my day lmao
It's always the goldies with the pokémon avatars...
Every now and then, when its really quiet (which it self is wierd because i have two really loud fans in my room to help me sleep) i can hear that clicking/creaking noise of the Predator.
A ton of banging then all the electricity in my room turning off
I get shell shock randomly. I think. I hear this really loud high ring for about 20 seconds then I lose all balance and the ring kinda mutes but gets even higher.
Also I hear exhaling sometimes, like, sighing, when I'm clearly inhaling or not really breathing. You know, like you forget about it and you don't hear it at all?
Mice fucking in the walls
:tinfoil:
Not just at night but.. I hear the steam message received ping.. which i replaced with the default Xfire sound...

I once was the only person in the apartment over the weekend a while back, it's great, when the Sun is up.
Once that cheerful ball of fusion dropped under the horizon, things usually get creepy, luckily, there is a light the staff keeps on which keeps the walkways lit all the time, and I have my bed next to the window. Still, the prospect of being alone in an apartment for a University when you KNOW people have snuck in before is quite terrifying.
Things like this have continued on and off for the weekends, and I've managed to handle them quite successfully, I have a routine, you see. Since electric is free, I always keep the Television in the other room on at a nice, low volume, and I keep a couple lights on in the kitchen to give a warm, comforting glow which peeks through the cracks of my bedroom door. The doors to the closet and bathroom would be closed, obviously, making the only obvious entrance for any assailant or ne'er-do-well the bedroom door. I felt comforted, I felt protected, but most importantly I felt safe.
That is, however, until I descended into what can only be described as a psychological Hell the week before Winter Finals.
I knew something was up when I woke up unexpectedly in the middle of the night, around 3 AM or so, I felt a tinge of fear as I realized the symbolism of that time (the Witching Hour, where basically demonic shit is supposed to go down,) causing me to cautiously lift my head off my pillow.
It was then I realized that the comforting hum of the Television was off, and the gentle glow of the lights were gone. Apparently, there was a power outage, and the entire apartment was thrust into the inky darkness that only nature can provide.
Having a power outage is one thing, being in an apartment alone is another, and nothing but dead silence as your surroundings is another. Mix these individually disconcerting events together, and you have a cocktail for insanity. They say the mind wanders when you are alone in the dark, with nothing but silence and the inky abyss consuming you, and my mind went to something terrible.
The disturbed mind is a funny thing, it's capable of unleashing horrors upon itself unintentionally, yet under it's own power. Within that silent darkness I saw mortality, the Human Condition, fear, terror, the final judgment of my immortal soul, and an innumerable list of horrors that I have never fully came back from.
I've never felt so alone in my life. I felt naked, lying on an obsidian floor with a dim ring of light surrounding me in a small circle, and beyond that was infinite darkness that stretched for eternity.
Seconds turned to minutes, minutes to hours as I tried to keep myself busy; I read by flashlight, I took a walk outside in the chilly early Spring morning, the smell of morning dew in my nose as the crisp, icy air of the North hit my face, I contemplated things such as God, mortality, religion, my use on this Earth, and everything that led me to that one moment in life.
It was in those hours of fear and solitude, when everything seemed to be going against me, that I found hope, I found reason and emotion, but most importantly, I found myself. I was on a hill when I saw the Sun rise, when the others in the apartment were probably waking, groggily wiping their eyes when they lazily noticed their ovens were blinking 12:00, indicating that the power went out some time in the night.
I never fully recovered from that night without light, when the veil of our modern world was pulled away to allow me a front row seat to the inky blackness of reality, yet I believe I turned out for the better. Because even when the very maw of Hell is seemingly consuming you, all you have to do is remember the Sun shall still rise.
It is in twilight that the Sun shall arrive.
My grandmother died 3 months ago and I never went to her funeral.
My house is a duplex see, and I'm right in between the old house of my grandmother's which is now empty and my house.
One night the door opened... like really slowly. Creepiest thing I've ever seen. I still can't sleep because of it and it happened a month ago.
you should visit her grave and say your finally goodbyes :saddowns:
I heard heavy breathing one night, scared the living fuck out of me, it was like "huuuuuuuhAAAAaaahuuuuhAaa" I kept looking behind myself, because I had gone to the living room and was trying to sleep in a lazy boy, it was frightening as shit, turns out it was just my step dad on the verge of snoring

I could swear I hear bats fucking in the trees at 3am.
Sometimes I also have conversations in my head with voices of friends/family, usually when I'm really tired in the middle of the night and I'm not thinking straight. Also, when I'm tired and sick I get delirious, and I see, hear, and think some fucked up shit.

Welcome to my world.
Sometimes I hear footsteps from my hallway, which is usually enough to creep me out. I investigated it once though. I followed the sound of the footsteps to my basement, and I decided not to go down there as I had a really bad feeling about it. It makes me really paranoid, especially when I'm home alone yet I still hear the footsteps.
I usually hear creepy sounds from the stairway in the block I live in.
last night i heard someone whisper ''go to sleep boy'' in my ear and i was home alone.
i was sleeping once, and I heard this voice say "Jarod, turn around." I turned around and was greeted with the gmod Joker faceposed Kleiner.
Also, those who hear a loud BEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEE sound while its quiet thats the body's sound stabilizer, since its impossible for there to be no sounds at all around you. so your body thinks you can hear a high pitched BEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEE
Lately I've been hearing someone play the piano, at 3 fucking AM.
I asked the neighbors about this, they don't hear a thing.
Then it hit be like a fucking freight train.
Recently a neighbor passed away, the old lady used to be a piano teacher...
oh god, someone is scratching at the screen door right now.
I often hear a fappy sound coming from under my bed..
It goes like this:
"FAPFAPFAPFPAFPAFAP"
I used to hear noises outside the window when I was 9. I thought it was Slender Man coming to get me.

Some stuff about his apartment.
Wow, that was deep. Anyway, every night I hear these random bumps in my house. Last Tuesday was bad though. There was a loud beep and then a huge crash. Still don't know what it was.
I was asleep when I hear what sounds like footsteps entering my room. A loud bang comes from the TV, one that can only be caused by human force. Next I hear a clicking sound. I look up to see my Xbox controller in the air with the analog sticks moving back and forth very rapidly. I took the controller from the air, went to the basement, and put it under a box.
My friend has this doll which belonged to his mom. It's called Baby Chrissy. It just looks creepy. One time I was there the doll was in the basement. He even showed me it. We were upstairs. I had my drink behind me. When I went to grab it, I felt the false hair of a doll. I threw it across the room. No one was home. that was only the first time it happened.
Just last night I went to my friend's house, which is out in the country. There is a sliding glass door right next to the living room. We were sitting there when we here a slight scratching on the door. We were scared witless. In the morning we figured out that it was his dog, which has black fur.
I hear a click every hour

Nvm its my clock
I keep hearing this high pitched whining sound, like an electrical surge almost. I hear it out of my left ear only, and in multiple locations.
My dad whispering "Hey there." into my ear.
