Samsung SGH-D500, really good camera with bluetooth and infrared, comes with a loudspeaker that plugs in o the side, good battery life and very rugged (got caught in torrential rain and the thing survived in my pocket.) People have said they had problems with the screen suddenly going white, i've had mine for 3 years and nothing of the sort has happened.

Last time I checked, the iPhone was on AT&T and the Palm Pre was Sprint.

It's a pretty great phone. It's a shame that it's got an 800mhz processor yet not other apps than the standard ones. I really wish they would do that, no point having all that power and not using it properly. I only got it because I can't afford and iPhone of course.

I've owned it since launch day (june 5th 09) an absolutely love it. Gotta love webOS.

Just because YOU only use your phone for calls doesn't mean everybody else does.
I use my phone to check emails when I'm not home, music, and games when I'm bored in the car\wherever, on top of calls and texting.
