Peugeots tend to be really comfortable cars but the problem is they cheap out on the building, the engines are very well known to kill themselves over a few years, parts falling off isn't uncommon either and the worse problem of all is the people who tend to buy them. Some of the worst drivers I've ever seen were in Peugeots.
Some of the worst drivers I've ever seen were in Peugeots.
This is a thing people say about basically any brand of cars they don't like, I've noticed. I'll just go ahead and assume it's confirmation bias.

I also have nothing against the brand, its just from experience its mostly Peugeots that shit up the road, they ain't even the most common car brand here.

You have the average peugeot driver, who is just like any other driver... And then you have the 106 GTI/citroen Saxo VTS drivers. If they have the mk1 versions, they usualy have it in a piss poor state with a huge fart can. If they have the mk2 version, its probably also in a piss poor state, but most of the times, its ok, also sporting the fart can exhaust. Basicaly, 106/saxo drivers are the equivalent of Civic owners in countries like the US where they are called ricers. Which we also have. Also, they WILL race you if you pass them in the highway, and then come up with excuses as to why their rocket powered shopping cart of a car is so much better than a diesel barge. True story, my friend keeps comparing his 106 to diesel cars that weight almost twice as much and have pretty much the same horsepower and engines that rev to only half of what he can go up to. Plus, "your diesel audi should be better because it has a turbo".

This car has a few flukes such as the lock on the right door taking some fiddling to unlock, the speedometer occasionally dropping down to zero which also causes the odometer to stop counting, so as a result the total mileage is off with maybe around 20,000 kilometers. :v: A while ago while replacing some burned out dash lights I also noticed the engine's RPM count fluctuates pretty far when you have the clutch disengaged, I doubt that's normal. Note that I had my foot off the throttle the whole time and it stopped fluctuating once I engaged the clutch.

I always liked how the old 505s looked.
I like the 206 S16 more than the RC or the GTI due to it being more sleeper-ish. It has 138 horsepower so it somewhat powerful for a hatchback and i like it.

I drive around in a 206 S16 every day. It's a neat lil' box that can go quite fast. However, I hate how much the hood dips, and it's not the most spacious hatchback out there either.
i love the audi rs4 estate [t]https://images.cdn.autocar.co.uk/sites/autocar.co.uk/files/styles/gallery_slide/public/audi-rs4-1_1.jpg?itok=CCYMRL42[/t] tho tbh i love estate cars in general [t]http://st.motortrend.com/uploads/sites/5/2013/08/2014-Mercedes-Benz-E63-AMG-S-Model-4Matic-Wagon-front-three-quarters-02.jpg[/t]
If only more people bought estates instead of SUVs.
If only more people bought estates instead of SUVs.
I use to hate how estates looked, but now that you compared to them SUVs, I'm really starting to appreciate them.
It really fucking pisses me off, and I think I may have already gone on about it in this thread before, not sure. Instead of getting this [t]http://www.volkswagen.co.uk/assets/common/content/mlp/passat-viii/features/Passat%20Estate%20GTE%20-%202.jpg[/t] A reasonably sized, sensible car that'll do the job for driving kids to school or going on holiday where you stay on roads, They get some fuckhueg SUV that will never see dirt in its entire lifetime, blocking small roads with their massive fucking size and blocking visibility for everyone else on the road. I made this trash a while ago but it's exactly what I mean [t]http://i.imgur.com/P4Li7Dq.jpg[/t] [t]http://i.imgur.com/pTchJie.jpg[/t] (obviously exaggerated but I still can't see shit) Not to mention 7 times out of 10 they're driven by retarded middle aged mothers who can't drive worth shit. "hurr its fur safety :downs:" Fuck off, it's not any more safe than any other modern car. "hurr its fur the visibility :downs:" It's because of other dickheads in giant SUVs you 'need' that visibility, and half the time the supposed extra visibility doesn't help your awful driving ass.
Really glad that I've never ever seen an SUV here, because the simple reason is that the government taxes your vehicle depending on if it's a petrol or diesel engine, and the weight. You pay a lot more for a diesel engine even if the weight is exactly the same. In a different district close to mine where my brother occasionally does his mail round, there's some guy who has a Dodge Ram and I can't help but feel like this guy looks like a massive tool. That truck is bloody huge, barely fits on the street and it's loud as fuck too so you can hear him coming a kilometer away already when that thing's on the road.
SUV SUV SUV
Rants like this seem to ignore the fact that SUVs are just much more comfortable. You get more legroom, more shoulder room, and more storage space. I have a compact SUV but I can still fit everything I own in it while I couldn't even think of the idea with a hatchback or an estate car. It's also actually comfortable (as a fat ass) compared to any car I've sat in outside maybe the Panther platform. Nobody is buying large SUVs anymore.
[t]https://i.ytimg.com/vi/bkpBnbQAty0/maxresdefault.jpg[/t] I think station wagons are still a viable car option today.

That just means you need to get a bigger car. It's a war of attrition. and why Americans drive huge cars.
I just wanted them to keep making the Magnum, is that too much to ask? It's such a handsome car. If the tailgate sill was significantly lower it would be perfect.

The Durango is enough to fit the Dodge SUV quota.

'Hey, remember that car where you had to remove the Left-Front wheel and the plastic inner guard to access the battery? And then you have to carefully remove the battery bracket like a puzzle without shorting it out on the terminals??'
Oh hey a 70's 911, but hold on, something looks off. [t]https://dl.dropboxusercontent.com/u/32814946/porsche-930-slant-nose-9.jpg[/t] Where'd the headlights go?! [t]https://dl.dropboxusercontent.com/u/32814946/be7217858476978c246b5a81064617d2.jpg[/t] The Porsche 930 "Flachbau" or more commonly known as the "Slantnose" started with the 935 in Group-5 racing. The rules state that the cars weren't allowed to be modified to the point where the facade looks different from the original, however it didn't forbade the modification of fenders and because the original headlamps were mounted on fenders. Porsche got away with it. Later on it became an option for the road going 930 in the 80's. Originals are quite rare as less than 1000 were made, however anyone can purchase an aftermarket conversion kit if they wish to have a slant nose.
If only more people bought sedans instead of everything else.
ftfy fuck estates :^) sedans is where its at, and BEHOLD Still dont know if I should save for one of these or for a B7 A4 Quattro sedan... These are BEAUTIFUL, but parts are apparently hard to find here.
Saw this at the BJ auction, couldn't get an ID on it since the papers were on the inside. Anyone know it? (bigimage)
