Still dont know if I should save for one of these or for a B7 A4 Quattro sedan... These are BEAUTIFUL, but parts are apparently hard to find here.
This looks much better than the Giulia IMO
I still find the Giulia pretty cool though, hope they depreciate fast.

I find most Alpha Romeos ugly past the 70's. Except the 75. I actually like it.

My dad found it: http://www.classiccarweekly.net/tag/concept-cars/
It's powered by a 70hp jet turbine. It debuted in 1955 and was theoretically good for 140-160mph.

I honestly believe the Dodge Journey to be one of the most "blah" cars of all time
There have been great cars, and terrible cars, and then there are cars so unremarkable that nobody's ever going to remember them
I have another one to add to that category.

2005-2008 Chevy Equinox
This car makes me scream inside. The worst part is, I drive one - so I scream inside a lot.
Spongy, awful handling, poor build quality, shit pickup. I think anything you would hate to have in a vehicle you can find in this all-in-one package of utter shit.
There are a few things this car has taught me though:
1) It is important to drive a car that you like to drive, because you're with it for many many hours.
2) I will never buy another Chevrolet/GM vehicle barring some massively unexpected positive experience.

Too bad Alfa's are about as reliable as using spaghetti sticks to build bridges.
Which is a shame because this car's smaller brother. The Brera, is IMO one of the sexiest hot hatches to ever grace the earth with its presence.

[t]https://dl.dropboxusercontent.com/u/32814946/Side Pose of 2009 Alfa Romeo Brera In Red.jpg[/t]
The only issue with this car is the fact that they tried to sell it off as more of a Grand Tourer rather than a zippy hot hatch. As a result this thing weighs nearly 2 tons.
Really glad that I've never ever seen an SUV here, because the simple reason is that the government taxes your vehicle depending on if it's a petrol or diesel engine, and the weight. You pay a lot more for a diesel engine even if the weight is exactly the same.
In a different district close to mine where my brother occasionally does his mail round, there's some guy who has a Dodge Ram and I can't help but feel like this guy looks like a massive tool. That truck is bloody huge, barely fits on the street and it's loud as fuck too so you can hear him coming a kilometer away already when that thing's on the road.
this thing and the ram already became a fad around here and its a joke to see them being used to carry small stuff and compensate egos. its like people go to a store and asks "what its the biggest car i can afford here?".

Talk about bloat, though. The styling matches its weight.

Ah so they ARE unreliable... Sad, these and the 159 look spectacular to me.

I also love these though.
It's "an car" just like the other A4 I posted, but I love it. The RS4 is even cooler, but I'm thinking in something achievable, and not something that takes like 5 years to save for and then drains my bank account with two fillups. But damn if that in RS4 package doesn't looks sexy.
Ah so they ARE unreliable... Sad, these and the 159 look spectacular to me.
Alfas are notoriously unreliable. The same goes for Fiat, hence the backcronym 'Fix It Again, Tony'

Well yes, but I expected it to be better nowadays.
Personally, I can't help but view pretty much all of the 70s/80s as the awkward period between the 50s' aesthetic and the sleekness of modern cars.
Compare these

[t]http://static.usnews.rankingsandreviews.com/images/Auto/izmo/313053/2010_audi_a6_angularfront.jpg[/t]
to this.

...Okay, i guess the Charger doesn't look too bad, but the Corolla definitely highlights the "awkward period between 50s and modern cars"
All I read there was that A6 screaming "BUY ME BUY ME BUY ME" like that ambulance in the Simpsons.
And the Charger is gorgeous.
But I get what you are saying. Some cars just look dull as hell, and you ask "did it really have to look this bad?"
This goes for Daewoo and Chevy Sparks/Aveo/whatever the fuck they are. Different time period but... Why do they have to look so bad? Look at Kia. They used to make dull looking cars, for people that just wanted great value for money and nothing else. Now they got cars that have great value for money AND look good on the inside and outside.
Well yes, but I expected it to be better nowadays.
You can probably expect them to not rust to pieces when you drive them off the lot like they did in the 1970s, but cars today are a lot more complex.

idk why would someone paint a half assed camo pattern with a brush on a single part of the car.

That old Mirage looks much better actually. Wait shit, I misread it, my bad.
The interior of the new one is pretty shit too, I know it's a base model econobox but still:

It's also incredibly unreliable.

240's are so god dang nice. It's aesthetics aren't all up in your face, looking borderline casual, but man do they look good like that.
It's a shame most of the ones you can buy today have either been involved in a crash or been abused by some knob who wanna drift around like a pro while not caring for it.

Pop-up headlights are also seriously cool and can make any car 10x more awesome.

Suzuki Cappuccino, one of my favorite kei cars out there.

Oh yeah, electronics are the Achilles' heel of the modern car. Even my A3 from '00 keeps bitching about oil because of a messed up sensor.
