I personally prefer the second gen CTS-V that included a coupe and wagon version plus manual transmission.

Am I alone in saying that I just hate everything about how these cars look on the outside? The rear ends on them especially look absolutely horrendous. They tried to take CR-V taillights and mix them with an old Caddy but carve the body with a series of sword slashes and make it a sporty car to be sold by a company that, historically, targets old people. Nothing about it makes sense.
It is mechanically a rather good car but otherwise I just don't understand it and that makes me angry grr
Cadillac was for rich people, who were typically old.
Buick is for old people.
Hence why Cadillac is now being branded as GM's luxury sports division competing for the attention of 50-something lawyers, while Buick is is now for those looking for comfy rides (AKA old people)

Buick is marketed towards chinese people.
They even have their own division up in Shanghai (SAIC-GM partnership) with exclusive models.
One such model is the Buick GL8 minivan, which was previously a rebadged Oldsmobile Silhouette:

Some of their other models are even starting to bleed over to the western hemisphere, such as the Envision and new Regal.

Sorry I just find it ironic that a non-American is telling an American about what an American marque does. I can very easily understand that, in America, Buicks are marketed to old people who like space and comfort, but also, Buicks were a big thing back 'in the day' of those people, so they may be attracted to the brand out of nostalgia.
And eg just because Audis are rather popular with Chinese consumers (who can afford them), doesn't mean that Audis are marketed towards just Chinese people. Companies can target different market segments across the world simultaneously, who knew.
[editline]21st February 2017[/editline]
And I imagine GM uses the Buick marque in China is because it's an entry-level luxury marque, which is exactly what the Chinese want in cars.
Oh man.. who can hate on the 90s??? Maybe people who like American cars. So AKA people who don't matter.

However, I love the look of the 2010 and previous chargers. Cept the grill, bullbars make it tolerable for me.

Sometimes, I really wish I had a powerful car with bullbars to ram people off the road.
Like, I straight up want to ram people off the road like a villain in a movie.
I don't know either...

Btw, I really like the M3 E46 (yes I know the picture is of a CSL version, but its pretty much the same look)
Imo, it has perfect proportions, the perfect ammount of power (although the CSL sounds and probably works better, but creature conforts aren't as good) and the perfect look. Nothing too fancy, but not boring either. To me, its the standard "form" for a brandless sports coupe sillhouette ilustration, just like how the F40 used to be the brandless super car sillhouette used for everything that depicted a brandless super car in an illustration.

i just wanna say that i hate the rear end of 9th gen civics
the 8th gen just has such a nice butt compared to the 9s
[t]http://oi48.tinypic.com/2n7e2oy.jpg[/t]
8th in front, 9th in back
Both are nice, but the 8th is pretty good looking yes
but OH MY IS THAT AN S2000 I SPY WITH MY LITTLE EYE?
i just dunno what it is about the 9th gens butt
like, i love everything about the 9th gen but i just cant get over that
tho im still gonna buy one, so i guess ill just stay away from the back
The only civic I dislike is the 10th. I feel like it's going to age super hard, and they weigh over 3000 lbs. Its the size of old accords, I get that every year cars have to be safer with better crumple zones and all-around airbags, but the civic is no longer a compact car by now.
I miss the days of a extremely lightweight civic hatch with a double wishbone rear suspension, not even the modern fit has that. It uses a torsion beam

Don't be pessimistic? They're not even a shadow of their former selves, let alone anything constructive to the auto world. No more Evo, shitty hatchbacks that are literal garbage, and now they butcher an iconic name...
