Pretty sure they've said the Evo just isn't profitable and that they would not make a new one. They're going through some hard times right now. Cars like the Outlander are much more profitable for them.

I love pop up headlights so much.
Many people dislike them because they change the way a car looks (for the worse, for most people) but I always feel the car gets a nice personality through it. I also understand why they don't get made anymore.
I'll get a used one someday, for sure.

I feel like it always fits their bodies really well, but just like the NSX and the 3000GT, their brand would for sure come up with fixed headlights that also look good.
The only thing I hate about pop ups is the fact that they are worse for drag and the motors are probably one of the first things to go during the vehicle's lifetime.

When I was a kid I don't think I ever saw a flippy '90s Firebird or Fiero with working light motors. They were either locked permanently up or one headlight was stuck down.

It's hard to describe why, but it just looks idiotic. The best analogy I can think of is how logos and flags almost always have two or three colours, and they almost never have a single colour nor more than three. Pure black also ruins the profile of the car for me. I don't mind black cars at all, as long as they have chrome here and there to balance things out:
