It looks like just another ordinary car from the 60s until you look under the hood and realize its turbine powered and runs on a mix of kerosene and the tears of tailgaters with melted front bumpers.

Sorry but
What is that ugly black thing at the end of the bonnet
Why does it have a fucking cross for an intake grille
Why is that front bumper so tacky and complicated
Why does the bottom one have no ground clearance, and wheels so large on such thin tyres, that it looks like the wheels would crack if you took that thing over a single speedbump?

It's absolute fucking sin that Alfa has started making an SUV, but if I absolutely had to have an SUV and I wasn't interested in actually taking it off-road, sign me up for a Stelvio QV then. Because I'd want an SUV that looks tasteful

This and the new Honda Civic. Dunno why they can't just make a rear end that's not absurd.
[editline]3rd September 2017[/editline]
Someone around where I live has an immaculate Jag XJ-S in grey, with vintage-style gold wheels. Truly does look lovely, and as I've seen it more than once, it's good to know that it isn't being hidden away in a garage constantly. I don't have any pictures of it. So you can instead have pics of the Jags which Tom Walkinshaw brought over to compete in the ATCC. Thanks to Walky and that V12, it was the first car to hit 300km/h on Conrod Straight, I believe.
[t]http://www.motorsportretro.com/wp-content/uploads/2014/03/Goss-Jaguar.jpg[/t]
[t]https://c2.staticflickr.com/4/3270/2857886823_e18b171f7b_b.jpg[/t]
Little piece of car trivia regarding that second picture: The VL Commodore SS Group A SV and that Jag XJ-S both have something in common: they are both the fruits of British motorsports legend Tom Walkinshaw. Tom built and even raced the Jags himself when he came to Australia in 1985, but eventually, they became obsolete.
At the time, Holden was having Peter Brock's Holden Dealer Team build both top-tier production Commodores, and Holden race cars for the ATCC. But Brocky started believing in pseudoscience nonsense by installing these 'polariser' devices in his production and race cars. Holden eventually decided to give the flick to Brocky. But Holden still needed a team. Who better to consult than Tom Walkinshaw? The collaboration produced that Commodore model in that picture, and led to the establishment of Holden Special Vehicles.
HSV always remembered Tom Walkinshaw and his legacy. Walkinshaw only ever put his name on a single production car when he was still alive, which was the HSV W427; a performance Commodore with a 7.0L Corvette engine. Production of the Australian-built Commodore and its HSV derivatives will end this year. The name of HSVs last ever, fastest and most-expensive Commodore-derivative? The HSV GTSR W1.
Unpopular opinion, I like all Miata gens, but if I had to go with one, I'd take the NC (least loved MX-5 for some reason).

IMO the grille looks awful but everything else about the car especially the stamped letters on the tailgate looks gorgeous.
Speaking of recently revealed cars, the new Alpine A110 was shown earlier this year, and shipments will start any time now (some reviewers have already got their hands on it)

[quote=https://www.whichcar.com.au/car-reviews/2017-alfa-romeo-giulietta-veloce-quick-review]Build quality falls well short of expectations. You must be American lmao
The unreliability is part of the Italian charm mate. Just like how it wasn't uncommon for Italian cars in the 70's to have rusted bodies before they even left the factory, haha. Alfas are absolutely beautiful, sound amazing, and are recognised as great pleasures to drive (even though the Giulietta Veloce's ride will break your back lmao). I've always loved Alfas, and plan to get that Giulietta Veloce next year. I am very aware of the unreliability issues, but that's part of the soul of the car haha.

Tell me everything I should know regarding the Mito, like interior quality (is it too FIAT? is it cheaper than a 15 year old A3? is it cheap looking and brittle on its own?), troubles with the engines and which one would be the best, and if its a good idea to have one as a reasonably priced car that isn't riddled with problems

I don't know man.
Like I get cars aren't 100% void of problems, and Alfas have their quirky nature of having them here and there, but its 2018, people pay out the ass for a car, so people kind of expect some quality that is used on their hands and not left parked at the shop for a repair, or at the very least go about their lives in constant fear of something falling apart.
I love Alfas aswell, I'd love to have a Mito or, heck, a GT or a Brera or a Giulietta. But out of all of those, the Mito seems to be the most trustful one of the bunch, while the rest are great to have you crossing your fingers every day you're about to fire it up.

20 valve 1.8 sounds real fucken nice for a 4 banger too, which makes it even nicer to drive
