I always despised this type of stereotypism. You'll always find all kinds of people driving all kinds of cars.
I too don't like those stereotypes, but I genuinely have never seen a Skoda driver drive well.
I always despised this type of stereotypism. You'll always find all kinds of people driving all kinds of cars.
Absolutely. These kinds of stereotypes can end up keeping you away from certain cars/brands because you've heard so much bad about people driving them. Potentially keeping you from buying an otherwise great car.
Most Volkswagens look boring and mass-produced, but I do have a soft spot for the Scirocco R of recent model years. Looks like a fun car. But I like the Sport and Cup models. Really not a fan of the Trophy-R
I have a HUGE boner for 2-door hatchbacks with tons of blindspots like those tiny windows in the back. And the side profile of the Scirocco is so slick mmmmm Have a slightly dirty Brera as another example of a really nice looking hatchback with an unusual look to it. For example, every time I see someone talk about BMWs in discussions, they nearly kiss the very tarmac they go through, as if it was an automotive be all end all deal. People go nuts over it. So nuts in fact that I know about two guys who got violent over it. One slapped a girl because she said his car sucked, and the other grabbed me by the throat and beated my friend hard when he got in the way, and that same fucktard used to mock us aswell so, yeah.

An Australian one at that. Australian engines are found in surprising places. The 3.2 JTS V6s in 00's Alfas were built in Australia by Holden, and the 2.8L turbo V6s in recent Opels were also built by Holden.

What you forget is the 100's of BMW, VW, AUDI, etc.. owners you come across on a daily basis and DON'T notice, because they're not acting any different from everyone else around you. Assuming that even 1% of these owners exhibit the behaviour you expect is a pretty malicious thing to think, in my opinion. I get the jokey part of it, but many seem dead serious about it.
[t]https://s1.cdn.autoevolution.com/images/gallery/PEUGEOT-406-Break-2790_8.jpg[/t] I really love its looks for being a wagon. My parents have one, for having driven 300,000 kilometers for sure the engine is still going strong and never let us down yet. We don't know how many kilometers it has actually driven as the speedometer doesn't always work, along with the fact that the electrical systems of the windows have issues. It is really comfortable to drive with however. I'm still taking driving lessons and I took it for a spin with my dad a few months ago. That experience has stuck with me ever since and at this point I still notice how uncomfortable my driving school's Mercedes A180 is.

I'm not saying all peugeot drivers are old and can't get violent for example. I'm saying owning a BMW at this day and age at a certain age is many times a way to cope with, lets say, having a small penis, and once that gets shot down aswell, they get violent. And the weird part is that both of them are known to be absolute blanks in the bed aswell :v:

I hate how that's a thing on modern 'sporty' cars. It's a bit childish. It's why that when I get my Giulietta Veloce, I will be getting it in Alfa Red as opposed to any other colour. It hides the red inserts. As below: [t]https://d3lp4xedbqa8a5.cloudfront.net/imagegen/max/ccr/1023/-/s3/digital-cougar-assets/whichcar/2016/12/16/-1/Alfa-Romeo-Giulietta-Veloce.jpg[/t] [t]http://www.car-shooters.com/wp-content/uploads/2017/02/CAR_SHOOTERS_ALFA_ROMEO_GIULIETTA_VELOCE_49-990x659.jpg[/t] [editline]16th January 2018[/editline] But yeah Alfa Red is a good colour anyways, although I'd prefer Rosso Competizione. Alfa Red is a bit too flat. Unfortunately I can't get Rosso Competizione on the Giulietta.
All alfa romeos look like the same car shaped differently. i dont see the appeal to any of them
Well that's what happens when manufacturers want a common design language for the purpose of a strong brand identity. I won't deny it; the MiTo was clearly inspired by the 8C Competizione, as was the 4C. But if you do pay attention, there are distinct differences between those models and others, such as the Giulia, Giulietta, and late models like the Brera and 159. I wouldn't be so sure to dismiss Alfas if I were you. After all, many motoring journalists will say that you can't call yourself a proper gearhead until you've owned an Alfa. Of course that's not my sole motivation for getting a Giulietta. [editline]16th January 2018[/editline] Besides, there are only three makers where the 'they all look the same' applies: Audi, BMW and Mercedes lmao

BMW is just making angry faces and looking bland in standard editions. I don't get why Alfa is looking like the same car. They look different enough, and the only thing that looks remotely alike each other is the triangle, and even that changes quite a bit. Even the Mito looks pretty good, although not as nice as the rest.
All alfa romeos look like the same car shaped differently. i dont see the appeal to any of them
You mis-spelt BMWs/Porsches. Not that I don't think they're appealing, they just all have the same front end. There's not necessarily anything wrong with that.
i can agree bmws all look the same in the same way, but at least with porsches they look somewhat different? they moetly share the same body shape while having different defining features, whereas alfa romeo is the opposite. but i guess youre right majority of bmws may as well be the same car from the outside [editline]16th January 2018[/editline] i heavily disagree with anyone who thinks all mercedes looks the same though, some share features but mercedes that are part of different model lines look waaay different to the others
I've concluded that you don't have eyes haha. Here's the C-Class, E-Class and an S-Class. It looks like Mercedes had just the one style, and only changed the wheelbase for each class. They all also have rather similar fascias at the front, and taillights at the rear (same goes for A-Class). So much so that it's not even worth posting the fronts or rears of them. Compared to the difference in styling among Alfas [t]https://res.cloudinary.com/carsguide/image/upload/f_auto,fl_lossy,q_auto,t_cg_hero_large/v1/editorial/alfa-romeo-guilia-2016-%281%29.jpg[/t] [t]https://res.cloudinary.com/carsguide/image/upload/f_auto,fl_lossy,q_auto,t_cg_hero_large/v1/editorial/Alfa-Romeo-Giulia-red-2017-sedan-press-images-%283%29.jpg[/t] [t]http://www.car-shooters.com/wp-content/uploads/2017/02/CAR_SHOOTERS_ALFA_ROMEO_GIULIETTA_VELOCE_49-990x659.jpg[/t] [t]http://www.car-shooters.com/wp-content/uploads/2017/02/CAR_SHOOTERS_ALFA_ROMEO_GIULIETTA_VELOCE_50-990x659.jpg[/t] [t]https://res.cloudinary.com/carsguide/image/upload/f_auto,fl_lossy,q_auto,t_cg_hero_large/v1/editorial/Alfa-Romeo-4C-2015-%2811%29.jpg[/t] [t]http://duttongarage.com/img/13124/3346?m=max&w=2000&h=2000[/t]
Alfas look nice but I'd never want to own one because the electrics are shit.
I think that isn't the case anymore from 04 onwards
im not gonna quote all those images but its like you cherry picked and still managed to show me how similar alfa romeos look to each other.. the first and second alfa romeos.you showed are practically the same apart from the headlights
I fail to see where? They aren't even the same platform... I really can't see any resemblance other than the triangle. He didn't cherry pick when they do look quite alike, just like how 3/4/5 series all look a lot alike and have fooled me more than once already, and so have Audis.
i can agree bmws all look the same in the same way, but at least with porsches they look somewhat different? they moetly share the same body shape while having different defining features, whereas alfa romeo is the opposite. but i guess youre right majority of bmws may as well be the same car from the outside
to me, every porsche has the same front end, even the 4x4 they did (the cayenne iirc) had the same bonnet, headlights, everything - I think they're too afraid to stray from that design because they know people love it and don't want to risk a new, possibly unpopular design
And I wasn't even saying that Mercedes look bad either. Sure they all look the same, but I think they all look fantastic. And Mercedes make some properly good engines as well. It's not necessarily a bad thing for all of a maker's cars to look the same, but that doesn't really apply to Alfa because their cars actually do look different. Even the 4C Coupé and Spider have different styling, notably the headlights, the middle section and the exhausts.
This thread needs more Broncos [t]https://i.imgur.com/O3wUP2Y.jpg[/t] [t]https://contactussotrendy.files.wordpress.com/2014/09/broncoedit3.jpg[/t] [t]https://s1.cdn.autoevolution.com/images/gallery/FORD-Bronco-2710_7.jpg[/t] God they're such nice, pretty, simple cars. Speaking of BMWs and them all looking the same, I just love how absurd the 3 series, 3 series gran turismo and 4 series gran coupé thing is. Guess which is which! On the subject of BMWs, I always thought that this concept design from Italdesign held up surprisingly well, even if Bimmers went in another design direction: [t]http://2.bp.blogspot.com/-Zqf2qsnWGnw/TcARdXv-SNI/AAAAAAAEX2k/-6WFwoAwrTA/s1600/carscoop-nazca-1_1.jpg[/t] Swap out the tiny little scooter wheels at the back for some nice rims and bigger wheels and it'll almost look contemporary.
