Someone in my area has a white Peugeot RCZ. While I’d never consider getting one, I think the RCZ is cool because it was a return-to-form for Peugeot. Only a few dozen were exported to Australia. The below one is literally the only RCZ R currently up for sale: [t]https://carsales.pxcrush.net/carsales/car/private/uwd6jcs0desqf89b3haba.jpg?pxc_method=fit&pxc_size=1197%2c798[/t] [t]https://carsales.pxcrush.net/carsales/car/private/umwcypaispgsm8vtq3gmw.jpg?pxc_method=fit&pxc_size=1197%2c798[/t]
I dig the style of it. Something that would be perfect for a female CEO.
I dig the style of it. Something that would be perfect for a female CEO.
It's a nice car, it's just something indescribable about it that makes me think "Oh yes, this is the sort of car an ambitious hairdresser would buy if an Audi TT had a longer waiting period." :v: That said, I love that era of Peugeots, considering I learned to drive stick on a 306. They were handsome looking cars, except for that ball-like 206. I hated that bulbous center console. On the subject of excellent looking cars, I was going through some old family photos my parents had uploaded of the time dad and I went as rally spectators. Realized, looking at the footage, that the old Castrol Celica (and indeed that specific Celica) would make for a fun project car and looks rather nice. Christ, poor Soupie, what did they do to my sweet baby. :frown: Nose nicked from an Enzo, weird eye-cowl headlight thing like an LFA, scoops the size of Arizona and a bum like a fucking Hyundai Genesis that had angry sex with another LFA.
[t]https://i.imgur.com/rj7S8ZF.jpg[/t][t]https://i.imgur.com/dSFoekm.jpg[/t] New Toyota Supra
You know what, I dig it. I like how it's essentially a conservative version of the FT-1. My only complaints are that they sacrificed the front fascia of the FT-1, and that the angle of the lip spoiler is too aggressive.
I think they could have done the front a lot better. Too many caverns.
The front looks kind of like one of those really ugly aftermarket front clips you could get for the Mk.IV. As long as I block out the thought of that, I like it.
Recently went BACK into production in 2011 I believe.
Nope, they're just selling the unsold ones from the 60's and re-manufacturing a few off spare parts (which they stopped doing a year later). And it'll only cost you a small amount of £11,999 to get one from them.

This could've been a Miata-killer and had some of the most beautifully simplistic styling on any car that VW had made: But the Jackasses decided not to release the BlueSport Concept. It's fucking infuriating to see something that pretty and realize it'll never get made. :tableflip:

I think it'll look better as the Z4 since BMW isn't going with the goofy, over-designed front end

I dunno why, but I really really want a Lupo GTi now. [t]https://i.cubeupload.com/a6n9nI.jpg[/t] It just looks so tossable, it's a shame they are very rare now according to a dude I spoke to that had one. Only 950 left in Germany, and they have all appreciated in value.

In fact, before I got my Ford Falcon, I did have a look at a 2007 Ford Fiesta XR4 (re-badged ST) like this one: [t]https://carsales.pxcrush.net/carsales/car/private/6def2z3plav98giboqcbk.jpg?pxc_method=fit&pxc_size=1197%2c798[/t] [t]https://carsales.pxcrush.net/carsales/car/private/3mn3piaeilznam9k13jfw.jpg?pxc_method=fit&pxc_size=1197%2c798[/t] [t]https://carsales.pxcrush.net/carsales/car/private/5ggci2o8226uvfhs3cgdv.jpg?pxc_method=fit&pxc_size=1197%2c798[/t] Little car with a big, naturally aspirated 2.0L, and a classic 5 speed gearbox. I loved it. But I decided on not getting one because half of them have racing stripes (hideous!), and most of them have probably been thrashed around. But most importantly, for my circumstances, they weren’t fitted with cruise control (I do lots of motorway driving). [editline]27th February 2018[/editline] I do love my Falcon (despite its many faults), but when I look at that zippy little Fiesta, I almost wish that I got the Fiesta instead.

I was in a unique set of conditions when I was in the UK and was daily driving a rather old-ish LanEvo 6, but due to the perennial repairs I was given a lovely VW Golf GTi as a loaner. I loved the shit out of thr car, and the week owning it was actually more memorable than the entire time I had the LanEVo. You could be as aggro as you want with the thing and you wouldn't be scared and you always felt there was more. I still remember driving with that little guy from Canterbury all the way up to Sheffield, just because I could. No matter what car I own now, the second one which will become a Sunday driver/project hooming car is definitely going to be a golfie. :cat:

I feel like they got a bit too tryhard after it though. It seems like the last hot Golf that looked truly unique, with its own look. The others after seem to follow this standard issued formula, and thats without mentioning the absolutely boring body shape the regular ones have. They still look mean, sure, but I feel like they try hard to look mean. Kind of like BMWs nowadays. They all look angry, even if they are as standard as roll up windows.
It's a shame the only hot hatch around here that really took off was the Swift Sport. Everything else is imported through other means while the SS is the only one sold at dealerships. [t]http://www.mad4wheels.com/webpics/hires/00008603%20-%202012%20Suzuki%20Swift%20Sport/2012_Suzuki_Swift_Sport_013_0030.jpg[/t] Now I'm in no way knocking the Swift, I think it's a fantastic entry level sports car, just lamenting the fact that hot hatches are pretty rare around here.
