You could totally start lookin elsewhere. Sometimes you just need work in the interim and there's nothin' wrong with looking for something better.
Over the summer I got a job at a daycare because I wasn't sure if my regular job was gonna offer me summer hours. So I went to the daycare for one day when I got a call from my boss saying that she was willing to offer me summer hours at my regular job.
So I quit without even finishing the shift lol
there's nothin' wrong with it!
