I'm fucking salty right now. Army 'friend' coming home for a weekend, so I hop in the car and visit my hometown for the weekend to meet up with him. We get all this shit organised we're gonna do, texting back and forth. Decide on meeting spot, I wait for an hour and he's a no-show. Go back to my place, call him three hours later, turns out he ran into some other army buds on the way and went to go get smashed with them instead. While this is happening, literally every other friend of mine is back in Brisbane having a birthday dinner for one of the loveliest people I know. I skipped out on everyone else just for this one guy, and end up with nothing. Aside from DnD with some of my uni's prime sperglords once a fortnight, and bumping into another FP'er occasionally, I've got basically no one to be social with. Isolation sucks.
